Job Description
The Associate Manager, eCommerce (Digital Shelf) is responsible for ensuring our products are accurate, compliant, compelling, and conversion-ready online. This role monitors and improves product detail page (PDP) quality, resolves content issues quickly, and supports conversion optimization efforts through ongoing content enhancements, digital shelf analytics, and cross-functional coordination.
You'll live in Syndigo and Amazon Vendor Central. You will also work in portals of other major retail players such as Walmart, Sam's Club and Target. At times, you'll need to work in Amazon Brand Registry, GS1 Marketplace, Bazaarvoice, Salsify, NIQ Label Insight, Inriver and other smaller syndication platforms.
The Associate Manager, eCommerce (Digital Shelf) requires a high level of detail, accuracy and persistence and you should thrive with data, analytics, processes and systems. You will need to be organized and able to juggle a large number of retailers, cross-functional partners and brands: FIJI Water, Wonderful Pistachios, POM Wonderful, Halos, Seedless Lemons and JUSTIN Wines.
This position will be based at our West Los Angeles, CA office. We work a hybrid schedule with an in-office requirement Monday-Wednesday and the option to work remotely on Thursday and Friday.
Job DescriptionDigital Shelf Quality & Content HealthYou will be lead on the Syndigo PIM build across the Wonderful Brands.
Manage GDSN data synchronization and product content publishing via Syndigo, ensuring accurate, compliant, and timely distribution of item data to trading partners and retailers.
Monitor PDP content health and accuracy (titles, bullets, descriptions, images, attributes, enhanced content).Identify and remediate issues such as missing content, incorrect claims, outdated pack/size, incorrect taxonomy, broken variations, system overwrites, incorrect or misaligned identifiers, or suppressed listings.
Ensure product data and imagery meet retailer requirements and internal brand standards.
Monitor reviews and ratings and manage third-party review service providers.
Content Updates & PublishingExecute content updates and new item set up via Syndigo and/or retailer portals.
Refresh content based on new campaigns, items, brand strategy, SEO best practices, retailer guidelines, and compliance requirements.
Own brand store presence across portfolio, navigation flow, module testing and page design.
Issue Management & EscalationsTriage and resolve digital shelf tickets related to content, catalog, availability signals, and brand presentation.
Coordinate with internal sales teams and retailers to resolve digital shelf issues.
Document recurring root causes and recommend process improvements.
Performance & InsightsTrack performance including content completeness, retail readiness, share of search, conversion rate, ratings/reviews, and sales impact.
Provide weekly reporting and insights on key content opportunities and competitor benchmarks.
Support experimentation and learning agenda (A/B tests where supported).Identify areas of opportunity to increase traffic and conversion.
Buy Box Monitoring & RecoveryMonitor Buy Box ownership continuously using Amazon tools and third-party trackers.
Identify Buy Box losses (pricing, availability, 3P competition) and escalate internally or through Amazon support.
Partner with sales teams to address vendor term issues, availability challenges, and rogue 3P disruption.
Qualifications3 - 5 years of eCommerce or digital shelf experience within CPG or similar consumer product industriesAt least 2 years of proven experience with Syndigo required, along with experience in Amazon Vendor Central and other retailer portals such as Walmart, Sam's Club and TargetKnowledge of Amazon Brand Registry, GS1 Marketplace, NIQ Label Insight, Inriver, Salsify and Helium 10 is a plusFamiliarity with digital shelf analytics and ways of monitoring and evaluating performanceStrong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, with advanced Excel and PowerPoint skillsA high level of attention to detail and accuracy is critical. You should thrive working with data, systems and processesStrong follow-through, ensuring updates are implemented effectively and key partners are kept informed
Pay Range:
