Job Description

About the Role We are seeking a creative, organized, and technology-savvy Digital Marketing & E-Commerce Manager to lead our digital customer experience, marketing initiatives, and e-commerce growth efforts. This role is responsible for managing our website, supporting online sales initiatives, coordinating marketing campaigns and Farmers Lumber Company events, and providing basic technology support across the organization. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who enjoys working across multiple disciplines, including digital marketing, website management, customer engagement, event planning, and technology support. This position plays a key role in enhancing our brand presence, improving customer experiences, and supporting Farmers Lumber Company's long-term growth. Key Responsibilities Website & E-Commerce Management Maintain and update website content, products, pricing, and promotional information. Improve website usability and overall customer experience. Provide customer training and support related to online purchasing tools. Collaborate with software vendors to improve customer-facing technology solutions. Support the development and implementation of future e-commerce and mobile purchasing capabilities. Marketing & Communications Coordinate digital and traditional advertising campaigns. Assist with social media management, community outreach, sponsorships, and promotional initiatives. Develop and distribute marketing materials and communications. Monitor campaign performance and recommend improvements based on results. Help strengthen brand awareness and customer engagement. Event Planning & Coordination Plan and coordinate customer appreciation events, training sessions, annual meetings, employee celebrations, and other company functions. Manage event logistics, vendor relationships, scheduling, and communications. Ensure events are executed professionally and successfully. Technology Support Provide first-level support for computers, printers, internet connectivity, security cameras, servers, and related technology systems. Assist with maintaining company laptops, printers, and other equipment. Coordinate with outside technology vendors and service providers as needed. Additional Responsibilities Maintain professionalism and confidentiality in all business activities. Collaborate effectively with employees, customers, vendors, and management. Perform other duties and special projects as assigned. Qualifications Required 3-5 years of experience in digital marketing, website management, e-commerce, or a related field. Strong organizational, communication, and project management skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously. Proficiency with common business software, technology platforms, and productivity tools. Preferred Experience with website management platforms and e-commerce systems. Knowledge of SEO, digital marketing strategies, website analytics, and online customer engagement. Experience planning and coordinating business events. Work Environment Primarily office-based with opportunities for remote work. Occasional visits to warehouse, lumber yard, and outdoor operational areas.
