Store Manager / Owner About Us Lambert Pawn Shop is a trusted, community-focused pawn and retail business. We buy, sell, and trade a wide range of items and are expanding our online sales presence across multiple e-commerce platforms. We're looking for a motivated team member who can help us grow digitally while keeping our day-to-day operations running smoothly. Role Overview This is a hybrid role combining e-commerce sales management with general administrative and front-desk support. You'll be responsible for listing and selling inventory across online marketplaces while also handling incoming calls, messages, and other office tasks. The ideal candidate is organized, tech-savvy, personable, and comfortable wearing multiple hats in a fast-paced retail environment. E-Commerce Responsibilities Create, manage, and optimize product listings on eBay, OfferUp, Facebook Marketplace, and other online selling platforms Photograph and write compelling descriptions for merchandise, including jewelry, electronics, tools, and general goods Monitor and respond to buyer inquiries, negotiate prices, and close sales in a timely manner Coordinate packaging, shipping, and tracking for all online orders Research market pricing and trends to ensure competitive and profitable listings Track online sales performance and provide regular updates to management Stay current on platform policies, seller best practices, and promotional opportunities Administrative & Front-Desk Responsibilities Answer incoming phone calls and respond to customer messages (text, email, social media DMs) in a professional and friendly manner Greet walk-in customers and assist with general inquiries as needed Maintain organized digital and physical records of inventory, transactions, and correspondence Assist with scheduling, filing, data entry, and other general office tasks Support the team with ad-hoc projects and daily operational needsQualifications Required:
Proven experience selling on platforms such as eBay, OfferUp, Facebook Marketplace, Mercari, or similar Strong written communication skills for product listings and customer interaction Comfortable with photography and basic photo editing for product images Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Professional phone etiquette and strong interpersonal skills Ability to multitask and prioritize in a busy retail setting Reliable, punctual, and self-motivatedStrongly Preferred:
Bilingual - Spanish speaking ability is a strong plus Knowledge of jewelry (gold, silver, diamonds, gemstones, brand-name pieces) including basic grading, testing, and valuation Experience with pawn, resale, or consignment retail Familiarity with shipping logistics (USPS, UPS, FedEx) and packaging best practices Basic knowledge of SEO or listing optimization for online marketplaces What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Hands-on, varied work environment - no two days are the same Opportunity to grow your e-commerce and retail skills Supportive, close-knit team atmosphere How to Apply Interested candidates should submit a resume along with a brief description of their e-commerce selling experience.
