Job Title E-Commerce Intern Job Purpose The E-Commerce Intern will support Hormel Foods' growing digital commerce initiatives by assisting with online retail execution, digital content management, sales analytics, and marketplace optimization. This role provides hands-on experience working with cross-functional teams to drive online growth across major retail and marketplace platforms while gaining exposure to digital marketing, e-commerce strategy, and consumer insights. Responsibilities Assist with the execution of e-commerce strategies across key online retail and marketplace partners. Support product content management, including product descriptions, images, specifications, and digital shelf audits. Analyze online sales, traffic, and assortment data to identify trends and opportunities. Monitor product availability, pricing, ratings, reviews, and competitive activity across e-commerce platforms. Develop reports and presentations that summarize key business insights and performance metrics. Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Brand Management, Category Management, and Analytics teams on business initiatives. Assist with promotional planning and digital merchandising activities. Participate in consumer and market research projects to support digital growth strategies. Identify opportunities to improve online consumer experiences and conversion rates. Complete special projects and additional responsibilities as assigned. Required Qualifications Must graduate in August 2027, December 2027, or May 2028 with a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Digital Marketing, E-Commerce, Analytics, Supply Chain, Economics, or a related field with a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA preferred. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Office applications. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrated interest in e-commerce, digital marketing, retail, or consumer packaged goods. Experience with data visualization, analytics tools, or digital platforms is preferred. Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment. Hours This is a temporary, full-time, hourly position. Interns can expect to work approximately 40 hours per week and may be eligible for overtime based on business needs. Location(s) This is an on-site position based out of our corporate headquarters in Austin, MN. Hormel Foods does not currently offer remote internship opportunities.
