Overview Ballard House is a founder-led ecommerce company that partners with established brands to scale Amazon operations using our in-house logistics, content creation and advertising infrastructure. Founded in 2017, we began as an Amazon reseller and transitioned to brand partnerships in 2023, bringing operational excellence to a portfolio of eight and nine-figure brand partnerships. We're hiring an Ecommerce Process Improvement Manager to reduce workflow friction and own clear documentation across our brand management team. This spans verticals including content creation, advertising, account management, supply chain, warehouse, and more. Responsibilities will include maintaining our fulfillment team's knowledge base and SOP library, collaborating with the COO on workflow revision projects, and identifying high value areas for AI automation to augment our human team. This role is heavy on docs and workflows, light on people management. An ideal candidate is a step-by-step thinker who sees incremental improvement opportunities everywhere and is excited to become an expert in AI systems implementation within a small business context.
Responsibilities :
Map current workflows across brand management team (account management, logistics, ads, media, etc) and work with senior leadership to document playbooks Own the quality and accuracy of brand management knowledge base and SOP library, proactively updating both as workflow changes are made Collaborate with company leadership on workflow revisions and process mapping Contribute to setting weekly team cadences to drive efficiency (cross functional stand ups, escalation rules, etc) Drive rollout of process updates across the teams, including facilitating training and enforcing SOP adherence Own project management (Clickup) structure, fields and dashboarding for brand management team Maintain and improve Google Sheets + scripts and support standardizing data definitions Identify repetitive tasks and run drafting of AI or no-code automations Stay curious and build practical working knowledge of Amazon operations, inventory management, ecommerce workflows, and internal systems
Qualifications:
Preference for 3-6 years of experience in ecommerce, online marketplace or DTC operations, RevOps, or process improvement in a SaaS or agency context, but this role is open to less experienced candidates who demonstrate exceptional process-oriented thinking Hands-on experience improving workflows, documenting SOPs, building checklists, maintaining internal tools, or creating dashboards/reporting structures Comfortable working deep in spreadsheets, Clickup or similar PM tools, dashboards and checklists Clear written and verbal communicator who can document decisions, and keep people aligned Analytical approach to map messy processes, identify gaps or failure points, then create repeatable workflows This role is for you if: You are the person who sees a messy process and immediately starts thinking about how to make it clearer You like working behind the scenes and making the whole team better You are energized by creating workflows, SOPs, dashboards and checklists that make work easier You are comfortable following up with people, asking questions, and working to make their lives easier You are not intimidated by learning a new industry, platform, or tool You believe AI will primarily bring exciting new opportunities to the people who master it You believe a process is only useful if people actually follow it Probably not the right fit if you: Want a client-facing account management role Prefer managing people over improving systems, workflows, and documentation Need every answer handed to you before you can make progress Get frustrated when processes are messy, incomplete, or change quickly Think SOPs, project management structure, reporting, and documentation are low-value admin work Avoid direct follow-up because you do not want to bother people Prefer big strategy conversations over detailed execution and implementation Are uncomfortable working with people across multiple teams Think AI is something for other people to figure out Want a fully remote role Benefits We invest in people who move the business forward.
