Job Description

Base salary: $80,000-$90,000 per year + monthly commission ($3-$6k range) Job description: We are looking for a seasoned Sales Manager with heavy operational experience to help open a new location. You will have an artful eye for design and experience in the "building products" industry to spearhead a high-end, beautiful, and captivating stone buying experience. You will work with interior designers, homeowners, and custom builders from conceptual development to assisting with the design decision making process. You will live vicariously through the client hand-selecting stone from all around the world. From the mountains of Italy to the beautiful valleys of Brazil for one of a kind piece to install in their kitchens, bathrooms, fireplaces, and more. Through connecting the consumer with high quality stone, we strive to be the number one educational resource and direct to consumer distributor in the natural stone and quartz industry. Our business model allows for full transparency and empowers the consumer.
Encore's Requirements:
3+ years of sales management experience and customer service. 3+ years of successful team leading experience. 3+ years of a proven track record of growing new stores and brands. Desire to be a part of something that hasn't been done before and enhances the way people experience buying stone for their project. Working knowledge of office equipment (computers, Microsoft Office, tablets). Excited to speak with customers and professionals about their needs for each project. Multitasking skills Ability to work Monday-Friday and rotate Saturdays. Quick on your feet, learning attitude.
Key responsibilities include:
Lead and motivate sales team to achieve monthly sales goals. Build brand awareness through networking, social media, and other marketing campaigns to increase visibility within the community. Establish relationships with clients, fabricators, builders, designers, and architects. Analyze current market conditions and competitor information to increase market share and identify opportunities. Generate new business by establishing rapport with potential and current customers. Implement and consistently complete outreach programs. Formulate pricing policies to maximize profitability and to move old inventory. Establish a team culture and foster a high standard of customer satisfaction. Manage the location/operation with a high degree of honesty, integrity, and professionalism. Recruit, train, and inspire employees. Work with the Logistics Manager to facilitate slab transfers to other locations. Utilize company software daily to ensure details regarding projects are up to date. Report regularly on merchandise availability and purchasing needs. Oversee warehouse crew ensuring organization and cleanliness of the warehouse. Efficiently schedule all local deliveries. Provide PPE and supplies for trucking, warehouse staff and office. We need a person who has: a passion for selling experience marketing big ticket items a background in management or leadership roles with progressive responsibility a strong desire and self-motivation to achieve and exceed goals experience managing locations and teams outstanding organizational, leadership, negotiation and time management skills the ability to recruit and train employees retail or wholesale sales experience strong computer and organizational skills exceptional communication skills the ability to successfully pass a drug and background check which may include credit, criminal, educational and/or work history experience in the natural stone industry is a plus!
