About the Role We are looking for an E-Commerce and Digital Content Specialist to support our growing brands across Shopify website management, SEO content, social media, and daily customer communication. This is a hands-on role where you will spend real time inside Shopify every week — editing product listings, improving page content, and helping our sites perform better in search. Like everyone on our small team, this person will jump in on customer calls and emails. We see that as one of the best ways to get up to speed on our products — there is no better teacher than a real customer with a real question. Strong product knowledge makes for better content, better copy, and a better website. If you already have Shopify and SEO experience, great. If you are newer to it but eager to learn and not afraid to dig in, we are happy to invest in the right person. What matters most is that you are organized, a clear communicator, and take ownership of your work. What You Will Be Doing Editing and updating product listings in Shopify, including descriptions, images, pricing, and page layout Improving product pages and category pages for clarity, conversion, and customer experience Writing SEO-optimized product descriptions and occasional blog posts to improve organic search visibility Researching keywords and applying on-page SEO best practices across our storefronts Creating and scheduling content for our social media channels, including posts and stories on Facebook and Instagram Assisting with light content creation, such as writing captions and sourcing or capturing product photos Answering customer calls and emails alongside the rest of the team — learning our products and customers firsthand in the process What We Are Looking For Experience with Shopify or a similar e-commerce platform, OR a strong eagerness to learn it quickly Familiarity with SEO basics (meta titles, descriptions, keyword research, page structure), OR the motivation to get up to speed fast Strong written communication skills, including the ability to write clean, clear product copy Comfortable on the phone and genuinely willing to help customers when they reach out Familiar with social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram) and comfortable managing content Highly organized with the ability to juggle multiple projects and priorities A self-starter who asks good questions, figures things out, and does not need to be micromanaged Nice to Have Previous experience managing or updating a Shopify store Hands-on experience with SEO tools (Google Search Console, Semrush, Ahrefs, or similar) Background in copywriting, digital marketing, or e-commerce Our Culture We are a family-owned company. The office is casual, with around 10 people (not counting warehouse staff) and up to 5 dogs on any given day. Yes, we are dog-friendly as long as the dog is as well-behaved as an average human. We value curiosity, collaboration, and getting things done. If you like variety in your day and want to actually see the impact of your work, this is a great place to grow. Benefits 401(k) with 4% company match Health, dental, and vision insurance Health savings account (HSA) Paid time off Discretionary profit-sharing plan Schedule & Location Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
