We're a small, family-owned business specializing in safety supplies and equipment, known for our commitment to exceptional customer service and long-standing relationships with local, national, and international clients. As we continue to expand, we're looking for a detail-oriented and tech-savvy individual who can thrive in a fast-paced environment and support our product management and e-commerce operations. In this role, you'll be responsible for accurately entering and managing product information for our e-commerce platforms and product information management system. This position will also support our current product management operations to help ensure smooth daily operations and business continuity. The ideal candidate will help ensure product listings are complete, accurate, organized, and optimized to support a great customer experience and drive sales. Key Responsibilities Gather and format product titles, descriptions, specifications, pricing, categories, and SKUs for e-commerce platforms with accuracy. Create and maintain product records and product information within our product information management system (Plytix). Work with Excel and Google Sheets to organize and manage product data. Create and maintain formulas, spreadsheets, and product data templates when needed. Upload and organize product images, ensuring they meet quality and formatting requirements. Review product data for accuracy, consistency, and alignment with company standards and SEO best practices. Partner with marketing, inventory, and IT teams to support smooth product uploads and maintain data integrity. Identify and correct data issues, including missing information or formatting errors. Recommend ways to streamline data entry processes and reduce errors. Ensure all product listings comply with platform guidelines and legal standards. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; an associate or bachelor's degree is a plus. Experience Any experience in data entry, e-commerce, or a related field. Familiarity with e-commerce platforms (e.g., BigCommerce, Shopify) is preferred, but not required. Experience with product information systems such as Plytix is a plus, but not required. Preferred Skills Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Basic understanding of SEO and product listing optimization. Effective communication and teamwork skills. Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines. Ability to learn new systems and software. Technical Skills Proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, or similar tools. Basic HTML knowledge for formatting product descriptions is a plus. Familiarity with basic data principles or databases would be beneficial. Working Conditions Regular use of computers and standard office equipment for extended periods. Full-Time, 40 hours per week. 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday.
