Job Description:
The CSI Director will work closely with the Head of Immunology CSI to provide an objective view of the competitive landscape and emerging trends. This role will deliver insights to support pipeline competitive intelligence (CI) activities (Research to Phase III), primarily within the Respiratory therapeutic area, with potential involvement in other Immunology disease areas based on experience. This individual will act as a strategic partner to Project and Asset Strategy teams, as well as BD/S&E and Corporate Strategy, providing insights into disease landscapes, market dynamics, mechanisms of action, and competitor data to inform internal strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
Utilize CI data collection tools and best practices to deliver timely, high-quality insights to stakeholders and project teams Attend and summarize key findings from relevant congresses to support early portfolio, projects, Asset Teams, and S&E/BD initiatives Develop and maintain a centralized repository of CI insights for Immunology as a key reference for business teams Ensure all Competitive Intelligence activities align with client SOPs, CI policies, and the highest standards of professional conduct
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Health/Life Sciences required; advanced degree (MS, PhD, PharmD) preferred 3-5+ years of Immunology Competitive Intelligence experience; research or clinical background is a plus Strong analytical skills with knowledge of CI and market research methodologies Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to present complex insights clearly and concisely Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage and present across all organizational levels
