Job Description Marketing Analyst - Armor & 3D Woven Composites Albany's team is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Marketing Analyst for our new 3D Woven manufacturing facility. Reporting to the Sales Manager, the Marketing Analyst supports the growth of the Armor and 3D Woven Composites business by providing fact-based market insights, performance analysis, and competitive intelligence. This role focuses on analyzing complex markets, customer segments, and product performance within defense, protective systems, and advanced materials applications. The Marketing Analyst partners closely with Marketing, Sales, Engineering, and Business Leadership to translate data into actionable insights that support strategic decision-making. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in targeting relationships with law enforcement, federal agencies, military and international government agencies; understanding their unique requirements, and supporting the positioning of our products as the preferred choice. Albany International Corp. is a global advanced textiles and materials processing company. The products and technologies help make paper smoother, tissue softer, and aircraft engines and structures lighter. The company has 2 core businesses, The Machine Clothing (MC) segment -is the world's leading producer of custom-designed fabrics and belts essential to production in the paper, nonwovens, and other process industries and Engineered Composites (EC) is a rapidly growing supplier of highly engineered composite parts for the aerospace industry. Key Responsibilities:
Create and implement a broad, multichannel digital strategy for information sharing and user acquisition.
Boost brand recognition and build routes that guide end users to our clients.
Use data analytics to pinpoint and evaluate the best marketing channels.
Encourage current customers to become brand advocates who influence market opinion and inspire their peers.
Analyze market, customer, and sales data related to armor systems, protective materials, and advanced composite products
Develop regular and ad-hoc reports on market trends, customer demand, win/loss analysis, and product performance
Track and measure marketing and commercial KPIs, including pipeline activity, opportunity conversion, customer segmentation, and market penetration
Support competitive and market intelligence efforts, including analysis of competitors, technologies, and emerging applications
Build and maintain dashboards and executive-ready summaries to support segment leadership and commercial strategy reviews
Partner with Sales and Business Development teams to evaluate campaign effectiveness and customer targeting strategies
Support forecasting, opportunity analysis, and long-range planning for the Armor and 3D Woven Composites segment
Ensure accuracy, consistency, and documentation of market and performance data across systems
Adhere to internal data governance, confidentiality, and compliance requirements
Perform other duties as assigned in support of the segment's growth objectives
Organize the team's participation in the Armor conferences Shift

Experience/Education/Skills Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering, Analytics, Economics, or a related field
3-5 years of experience in marketing analytics, business analytics, or market intelligence
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
AB Testing
Advanced proficiency in Excel; experience with data visualization or BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or similar)
Experience working with CRM and sales data (e.g., pipeline, opportunity, customer data)
Ability to translate complex technical or market data into clear, actionable insights
Strong written and verbal communication skills Preferred Skills Experience supporting advanced materials, composites, defense, aerospace, or industrial manufacturing markets
Familiarity with B2B, long sales-cycle, or program-based business models
Experience with market research, competitive analysis, or voice-of-customer data
Exposure to global or highly regulated markets Remuneration & Benefits/ Other Location:
