CPG Domains Responsibilities:
  • Forecast and track marketing and sales trends, analyzing collected data.
  • Conduct research on consumer opinions and marketing strategies, collaborating with marketing professionals, statisticians, pollsters, and other professionals.
  • Devise and evaluate methods and procedures for collecting data, such as surveys, opinion polls, or questionnaires, or arrange to obtain existing data.
  • Gather data on competitors and analyze their prices, sales, and method of marketing and distribution.
  • Measure the effectiveness of marketing, advertising, and communications programs and strategies.
  • Develop and implement procedures for identifying advertising needs.
  • Direct trained survey interviewers.
  • Conduct comprehensive competitive analysis to assess market dynamics, competitor strategies, and consumer preferences in the mobile, home entertainment, and digital appliances segments.
  • Collect and analyze data from various sources, including market reports, industry publications, and internal databases, to identify emerging trends and opportunities.
  • Collaborate closely with the Senior Manager of Competitive Intelligence to align analytical objectives with the subsidiary's Mystery Shop Data needs.
  • Utilize in-house tools, Tableau and techniques, with a focus on Excel, to organize and interpret complex data sets.
  • Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and dashboards to communicate findings and insights to key stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, marketing, and retail execution sales teams, to provide strategic insights and support decision-making processes.
  • Monitor competitor activities and industry developments to stay informed of market trends and emerging threats or opportunities.
  • Assist in the development of competitive intelligence strategies and frameworks to enhance the company's competitive position.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Marketing, Economics, or related field.
  • 2 to 5 years of experience in competitive analysis, market research, or related fields.
  • Proven expertise in Excel, data analysis, and visualization techniques.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to diverse audiences.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Experience in the consumer electronics industry or related sectors is preferred but not required.
  • This role requires being onsite in Plano, TX office Monday through Friday.

  • Ability to work independently and manage one's time.
  • Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services.
