Part-Time InternshipJob DescriptionSummaryMarketing Intern assists the marketing department in their advertising and promotional efforts. Their main duties include completing clerical and administrative duties, building social media campaigns and preparing promotional materials and presentations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned1st Responsibility
  • Ensuring personal safety and the safety of your team membersSupport the marketing team in daily administrative tasksAssist in marketing and advertising promotional activities(e.
g. social media, direct mail and web)Prepare promotional presentationsHelp distribute marketing materialsManage and update company database and customer relationship management systems (CRM)Assist with the design and execution of social media campaignsCreate weekly and monthly editorial calendars to promote company brands on various social media websitesTrack social media engagement to identify high-performing ideas and campaigns for scalabilitySupport marketing team at live and online eventMarketing Orders
  • Follow-ups with vendors, shipping, and payment verification.
Literature and Marketing Promotional
  • Coordinate sending out materials to field salesCommunication
  • assist Marketing Manager in inter-company, internal and external communications.

Education and/or ExperienceCurrently enrolled in a Marketing focused degree at a 4
  • or 2-year college, requiredMastery of the major social media platforms including Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, Snap and Google+Knowledge of social media analytics software including Facebook Insights, Google Analytics and Twitter Analytics to track audience engagement and campaign performanceExperience with content management systems, word processor applications and image/video editing softwareSkillsVerbal and written professionalismAbility to communicate with all levels of the organizationStrong internet navigation skillsProven ability to manage multiple tasks through to completion in a fast-paced environmentAbility to work well with team members as well as independentlyStrong organizational skillsDemonstrated ability to prioritize and manage time in order to meet set deadlinesProven problem-solving abilitiesAttention-to-detail and high-level of accuracy requiredPhysical DemandsThe physical demands and work environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

Ability to work 8-10 hour shifts. Up to 40 hours per week.

Approximately 90% of time is spent in an office environment performing duties and approximately 10% of time in a manufacturing environmentMust dress and present oneself in a professional manner.

Ability to lift, push and pull at least 20 pounds.
