Department Name Public Appearances Funding Type UCA Student Help Position Summary Marketing Student Worker for Public Appearances Job Duties and Responsibilities Public Appearances is responsible for providing arts programming for UCA and the community each season with events occurring in both Reynolds Performance Hall and the Windgate Center. Events presented are performed by national and international touring artists including celebrity musicians, touring Broadway shows, world renowned speakers and more. We are currently seeking a Marketing Assistant to work with the Director of Marketing and Finance. This position will assist with marketing events, working front of house during shows, assisting with donor events and more. If you enjoy the arts and are looking to expand your knowledge of customer service, organization, marketing, social media management, and more, this may be the job for you.
Applicants must have:
A friendly demeanor and willingness to go above and beyond for patrons Be team oriented, timely, responsible, and able to work independently Have a flexible schedule for nights and weekends Able to speak professionally with staff, performers, and patrons and have professional dress for events Excellent social media proficiency Excellent writing skills Transportation for marketing events Job Duties and Responsibilities Assist marketing director to promote Public Appearances events Work front of house for Public Appearances events Distribute marketing material around UCA campus and community Create content for updating social media accounts Take photos at events for marketing purposes Attend promotional fairs Assist with donor and subscriber events and activities Other duties as assigned University, Campus, and Community Description Thank you for your interest in employment at the University of Central Arkansas.
