Job Description
The State Controller's Office is seeking to hire two (2) motivated and dependable student assistants to work as FI$Cal ABOR Implementation & Stakeholder Engagement. The student assistants will support the statewide implementation of the Accounting Book of Record (ABOR) within the Financial Information System for California (FI$Cal), scheduled to go live on July 1, 2026. This opportunity provides hands on exposure to how California state departments use FI$Cal for accounting, reporting, and statewide financial management. This is an excellent opportunity for students to support ongoing confidential projects and key initiatives, gain professional development experience, learn in a fast-paced environment and contribute fresh perspectives. Internal Candidate Only - External Candidates will not be considered.
