$22-$30 per hour, depending on experience About the Role We're looking for a creative and detail-oriented Marketing & Events Assistant to support the marketing efforts of our portfolio of 5+ restaurant concepts. This role is ideal for someone with foundational marketing experience who enjoys bringing ideas to life through social media, events, and promotional campaigns. Working closely with an office team, restaurant managers and ownership, you'll help execute marketing initiatives that drive guest engagement and revenue. This is a hands-on, collaborative position perfect for someone eager to grow within the hospitality marketing space. Key ResponsibilitiesCore Marketing & Growth Assist in developing and executing marketing strategies across multiple restaurant concepts. Support promotional campaigns designed to drive revenue, including seasonal initiatives such as Mother's Day, Easter, sporting events, and major holidays. Help create SEO-optimized content for websites, email campaigns, and social media. Collaborate with the team to brainstorm and implement creative promotional ideas. Social Media & Content Creation Create and schedule engaging social media content across platforms such as Instagram and Facebook. Write compelling, conversion-focused captions that align with each brand's voice. Maintain and update content calendars to ensure consistent posting and campaign rollouts. Stay up to date with social media trends and suggest new content ideas. Branding & Creative Support Assist in maintaining the brand identity for each restaurant, including tone, visuals, and messaging. Design marketing materials such as menus, flyers, and digital graphics using Canva . Support updates to Squarespace websites , ensuring accurate and visually appealing content. Help ensure brand consistency across both digital and in-person guest experiences. Event & Promotion Support Assist in planning and promoting events such as wine nights, dueling piano shows, influencer previews, and holiday brunches. Coordinate marketing materials and communications for upcoming events. Support outreach and coordination with influencers and community partners. Email Marketing & Communications Create and schedule email marketing campaigns using Mailchimp . Assist with audience segmentation and basic performance tracking. Monitor and respond to guest reviews on platforms such as Google, Yelp, and OpenTable professionally and promptly. Qualifications 2+ years of experience in marketing, social media, hospitality, or a related field. Familiarity with social media platforms and content creation. Basic knowledge of SEO principles and digital marketing. Experience with Canva for graphic design. Working knowledge of Squarespace and Mailchimp is preferred. Strong written communication and copywriting skills. Highly organized with strong attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines. A proactive, team-oriented attitude with a passion for hospitality. Familiarity with OpenTable and Google Business Profiles is a plus. Preferred Skills Website maintenance Basic understanding of Meta (Facebook & Instagram) Ads . Photography or short-form video content creation. Interest in branding and visual storytelling.
