Graphic Designer & Marketing Assistant (Full-Time, On-Site)

Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM We are getting so busy we are adding an additional full-time highly skilled, self-directed junior Graphic Designer to join our small Marketing Department. This role requires creativity, attention to detail, excellent writing skills, and the ability to juggle multiple projects with a quick turn around. Flyers you would be producing are upscale designs for events and specials at all areas of the country club. Experience with upscale look and design is required. You'll work closely with the Marketing Director to maintain branding consistency across a variety of materials while also playing a vital role in our community outreach, digital content, and internal communications. This is a small office with the company's key executives so professionalism is required. Must live within a commutable distance to Citrus County, no relocation package available. This is NOT a freelance, remote or senior design position.

Key Responsibilities:

Design upscale, brand-consistent marketing pieces for print and digital use (event flyers, bi-monthly newsletter, brochures, signage, etc.) for retired club members Update website content and graphics on a daily basis Write and edit articles, blogs, and event content for website and social media platforms Assist in proofreading all marketing materials for grammar, spelling, accuracy, and layout consistency Manage and contribute to social media content creation and scheduling Experience in journalism or print media a major plus Review art for accuracy (size, color, formatting) and prepare final proofs for manager sign-off

Requirements:

2+ years of professional Adobe InDesign experience (required) Proficiency in Photoshop and Illustrator Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills Excellent proofreading and communication skills Must be detail-oriented and able to meet deadlines Social media and Wordpress posting experience preferred Team-oriented with a flexible, can-do attitude Thrives in a focused, distraction-free work setting and demonstrates strong self-motivation. Comfortable working independently in a quiet, professional office environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

2-4-year college degree in Design, Marketing or Communications (preferred) Journalism, newspaper, or blog writing and layout design experience is a strong plus Experience working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Familiarity with retirement community or club-style marketing is a bonus Ability to work on your own and with a small team
