Angel Kids is seeking a full-time Marketing Assistant, to join our team located at our corporate office in Jacksonville. Job Summary We are seeking an enthusiastic, detail-oriented Marketing Assistant to directly support the Community Outreach Marketing Coordinator. This is a hands-on entry level role ideal for someone with a genuine passion for marketing, events, and community connection. You will play a vital role in executing marketing initiatives, building our brand presence, and amplifying AKP's mission across multiple social media platforms and community touchpoints. Duties and Responsibilities Content Creation and Social Media
- Assist with creating engaging content for Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and understanding each target audience. Possibly explore research expanding presence on YouTube channel, Threads, and Tik Tok.
- Triage marketing requests from internal departments, spontaneous posts as they come up, while following a social media content calendar. Produce posts, reels, short-form videos, carousels, infographics aligned with brand standards.
- Manage and maintain the social media content calendar.
- Track and report on social media analytics to measure campaign performance.
- Spot emerging trends across platforms and bring forward fresh, creative ideas.
- Contribute to thought leadership content on LinkedIn, creating blog series for our providers. Events and Promotions
- Assist with setup, tabling, and on-site support for community events
- Promote and support AKP-branded events, luncheons, banquets, and other community activations
- Actively network with the community and cultivate relationships with local businesses, nonprofits, and community partners Digital Campaigns and Projects Assist with digital campaigns, fundraising, and nonprofit development Support the planning and execution of key marketing campaigns including:
- Highlighting medical providers and thought leadership
- Workplace culture, teambuilding, and volunteering to assist in recruiting
- Giving Tuesday for Angel Kids Foundation, raise funds to bridge financial aid for families in need
- Contribute to external newsletters and blogs of key healthy tips and community resources Vendor and Production Support
- Coordinate with vendors for promotional items, branded merchandise, general swag
- Ensure brand consistency across all printed and digital materials Education and Experience
Education:
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, PR, or a related field preferred.
Experience:
1-2 years relevant experience in marketing, social media, events, or communications required
- Portfolio or evidence of previous work required (social media samples, design work, campaign results)
Tools:
Social media platforms (Facebook/Meta, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, Tik Tok), Canva, Adobe, Vistaprint Competencies and Attributes
- Excellent attention to detail with a good eye for design, aesthetics, and brand consistency
- Personable, approachable, natural relationship-builder
- Proactive self-starter who is resourceful and willing to hunt down information, answers, or people
- Strong pulse on marketing trends and community happenings

Position Type / Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position: Workdays and hours may vary: Typically Monday through Friday. Must be flexible from 7:30 am to 6:00pm. Hours vary based on community event needs. This position requires long hours and weekend work as needed.
