What You'll Do:
Recruit, interview, hire, train, and manage a team of field marketing professionals Set individual and team performance goals while coaching employees to achieve results Plan and manage field marketing activities, including events, retail opportunities, and neighborhood canvassing Build weekly and monthly schedules based on market opportunities and team capacity Identify and develop new opportunities for events, partnerships, and community engagement Establish relationships with venues, retailers, community organizations, and other local partners Track lead generation, appointments, conversion rates, and sales performance by location Identify what is working and adjust marketing efforts to maximize results Manage regional operations, including staffing, schedules, materials, equipment, and reporting Ensure field marketing activities comply with applicable local requirements, company policies, and safety standards Report performance, pipeline activity, and market results to marketing leadership Develop future leaders by identifying and mentoring high-performing team members Continuously improve training, messaging, territory strategies, and field marketing processesWhat You'll Bring:
High school diploma or GED required 3+ years of experience in field marketing, direct sales, canvassing, door-to-door marketing, event marketing, or a similar role Experience building or growing a marketing territory or program is preferred At least 1 year of experience hiring, training, and managing a team of field or sales professionals Strong leadership, coaching, and performance management skills Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple employees, locations, and schedules Experience with lead tracking, CRM, or field management software is preferred Ability to work independently and take ownership of results Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt strategies based on performance Valid Driver's License and clean driving record Willingness and ability to travel throughout the assigned region Ability to work a variable schedule, including weekends as needed Must be willing to undergo a criminal background check if offered the position Why Metlok?
