The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective social media strategies that enhance our online presence and engage our audience. This role requires a strong understanding of digital marketing, excellent proofreading skills, and proficiency in various social media management tools. The Social Media Coordinator will work closely with the marketing team to align social media efforts with broader marketing campaigns. Duties Develop and execute engaging social media content across platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn. Monitor social media channels for trends, audience engagement, and feedback, responding promptly to inquiries. Conduct research to identify emerging trends in digital marketing and public relations that can be leveraged for content creation. Utilize tools like Social Pilot for scheduling posts and analyzing performance metrics to optimize strategies. Create visually appealing content using Canva and Adobe Illustrator and other design software. Proofread all content before publication to ensure accuracy and adherence to brand guidelines. Maintain a consistent brand voice across all platforms while adapting messaging for different audiences. Assist in the development of promotional campaigns that drive traffic to our website and increase brand awareness. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field is preferred. Proven experience in social media management or digital marketing is highly desirable. Strong proofreading skills with an eye for detail; ability to buff content for clarity and engagement. Familiarity with Google Analytics and other web research tools to track performance metrics. Proficient in using Hootsuite or similar social media management platforms. Knowledge of public relations practices and how they integrate with digital marketing strategies. Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to craft compelling narratives that resonate with target audiences.
