Job description: Marketing Assistant - Restaurant & Community Support Are you someone who thrives on variety, enjoys being on the move, and loves getting involved in the community? We're looking for a dependable and energetic Marketing Assistant to support the Director of Marketing across a wide range of responsibilities - both behind the scenes and in the community. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role that plays a key part in helping our marketing efforts come to life across 8 restaurant locations.
What You'll Do:
Logistics & Deliveries:
Pick up and deliver supplies, promotional items, and materials between our restaurant locations, vendors, and events.
Event Support & Setup:
Coordinate, set up, and staff local events - ranging from school festivals and community fairs to local business events. Some events may include selling a limited menu, others will focus on brand presence.
Mascot Appearances:
Regularly wear the mascot suit for school events and public appearances. You'll represent the brand in a fun, interactive way! You can anticipate a minimum of once per week.
Meeting Representation:
Attend meetings with or on behalf of the Director of Marketing, taking notes and ensuring proper follow-up on action items.
Restaurant Support:
Assist in-restaurant operations, especially during high-volume periods or promotional efforts. This will involve learning & mastering all positions within the restaurant and becoming assistant manager certified.
Catering Preparation:
Help prepare and package catering orders to ensure timely and accurate execution for off-site deliveries.
Social Media Content & Support:
Assist with capturing photo and video content at events, in-store promotions, and community activations. Help post approved content to store social media pages, respond to guest comments/messages when appropriate, and ensure stores maintain an active, engaging online presence. Work closely with the Director of Marketing to showcase events, promotions, catering, team members, and community partnerships across our locations.
Flexible Admin Support:
Provide general assistance to the Director of Marketing as needed - no two days will look the same and priorities of tasks may change quickly.

Basic Technology Comfort :
Strong eye for capturing engaging moments, people, and events. Ability to make basic edits.
- Valid Driver's License & Reliable Transportation ( Required )
Bonus Points For:
- Experience in food service, catering, event planning, or marketing.
- Familiarity with surrounding areas of Monroe/Covington/Conyers/Tucker
- Comfort with social media and/or photography

Location:
The main office/warehouse is based in Monroe, GA with travel to Covington/Conyers/Tucker and surrounding areas.
Schedule:
- When no events are scheduled, your standard hours will be 8:30am-3:00pm Monday through Friday either fulfilling assignments or working within the stores. Hours may be adjusted slightly to accommodate the right candidate.
- During event-heavy times, you'll be expected to work non-traditional hours including early morning, evenings, or occasional late-night evenings.
These will be communicated to you in advance so you can plan accordingly. Anticipated events include sports games : Friday night sports games such as football or basketball / early morning coffee with the chamber / larger evening catering / Weekend festivals / etc. I'll reiterate: these events will be planned in advance to be able to plan accordingly. This is not an events-only position. Candidates should expect to spend the majority of their time working inside restaurant locations, with events, deliveries, and community marketing serving as additional responsibilities.
Standard Week Breakdown:
- 60-75% in-store support in some capacity
- 15-25% events/community
