About the Role Merkle Retirement Planning is looking for a Marketing Intern to support our Marketing Team across digital content, campaigns, email marketing, analytics, creative projects, and day-to-day marketing operations. This is a hands-on opportunity for someone who is interested in building practical marketing experience across multiple channels. You'll help keep marketing initiatives organized, accurate, on-brand, and moving forward while gaining exposure to both the creative and analytical sides of marketing. Qualifications We're looking for someone who brings: Excellent written and verbal communication skills A strong interest in marketing and graphic design Creativity and strong visual communication abilities Keen attention to detail Strong time-management and organizational skills The ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment A collaborative mindset and positive attitude Openness to feedback and a willingness to learn
Responsibilities Social Media & Content Publishing:
Schedule and publish approved social content, maintain the social media calendar, assist with YouTube publishing, and review live content for accuracy.
Campaign & Marketing Analytics:
Gather and organize campaign results, pull metrics across digital channels, track performance against goals, identify basic trends, and help maintain accurate links, UTMs, and reporting.
Marketing:
Build and format emails using approved templates and brand standards, add campaign elements, proof emails, and assist with scheduling.
Design & Creative Support:
Complete simple design projects, resize and adapt existing graphics, and make basic updates to approved marketing materials.
Marketing Operations & Team Support:
Help maintain budget and expense tracking, organize marketing files and assets, assist with event and workshop materials, and support special projects.
