This role is responsible for supporting the development and execution of marketing initiatives, maintaining digital platforms, and assisting with outreach efforts that drive engagement and revenue. This position focuses on promoting programs, events, and fundraising efforts through digital platforms, content creation, and community engagement. The ideal candidate is creative, organized, and tech-savvy, with a strong interest in marketing and a willingness to collaborate, take initiative, and contribute to a fast-paced, mission-driven environment. Key Responsibilities Create and schedule social media content (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok) Manage and update website content (Wix) Monitor engagement and support audience growth Track, analyze, and evaluate marketing performance and trends Design marketing materials (flyers, sponsorship packets, graphics) using Canva and Adobe Illustrator Support marketing campaigns for programs, services, and fundraising events Assist with event promotion, outreach, and on-site marketing support Help maintain relationships with sponsors, partners, and community stakeholders Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Minimum 2 years experience Experience with social media management and website updates (Wix preferred) Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, SharePoint, OneDrive, etc.) Experience with Canva and Adobe Illustrator preferred Google Ads experience are a plus Must be able to pass a background check What We're Looking For Creative and detail-oriented Organized with strong time management skills Strong communication and teamwork skills Self-motivated and adaptable in a fast-paced environment Passion for serving the community About the Meridian Senior Center The Meridian Senior Center is a nonprofit organization dedicated to enriching the lives of older adults in our community.
