Student Employment Work Location Lexington, KY On Campus/Off Campus Off Campus Salary Range $16.50 Type of Position Student Position Time Status Part-Time Preferred Education/Experience Customer service, retail, restaurant, events, catering or hospitality experience. Hours per Week 10-20 Job Summary You must be a current UK student to apply for this position. This position is located off campus with a local Lexington employer and is not affiliated with UK. Female owned and operated small business with a focus on creativity and hospitality. This position is ideal for students interested in gaining hands-on experience in entrepreneurship, marketing, event management, and hospitality while working directly with a growing local business. Assist with event setup and breakdown. Help assemble charcuterie boards, boxes, and catering orders. Create and schedule social media content (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok). Take photos and videos of products, events, and behind-the-scenes operations. Support inventory organization and kitchen prep. Help with administrative projects and special assignments/marketing campaigns.

REQUIRED
Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities Current student at the University of Kentucky (or local college). Organized, dependable, and detail-oriented. Comfortable lifting up to 30 pounds and standing for extended periods. Strong communication and customer service skills. Must have reliable transportation. Ability to follow instructions and maintain food safety standards. Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends. Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
PREFERRED
Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities Experience with Canva, Adobe, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, or Pinterest is a plus. Interest in entrepreneurship, hospitality, catering, event planning, marketing, or small business operations. Photography and videography skills. Customer service, retail, restaurant, events, catering or hospitality experience. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment. Flexible schedule.
