Job Description

The Assistant Marketing Manager is responsible for supporting the successful execution of all integrated marketing and digital marketing programs to ensure retail, brand and product stories are delivered to the right people, at the right time. We are looking for a highly organized, self-motivated individual who can operate in a rapidly evolving and fast-paced environment. This role will be responsible for collaborating cross-functionally across divisional brand marketing teams, retail teams, and other internal and external partners to drive operational success and consumer growth. Supports the development multi-touch, multi-channel marketing campaign strategies and then deliver strategies through execution and management of a variety of integrated activities. Working both independently and as a collaborative team member, working cross-functionally with peers, other departments, and external partners to ensure delivery. As well as end to end ownership of execution of D2C and B2B marketing activities related to specific key initiatives. This position requires strong project management, communications skills, an ability to manage and execute projects, and interact effectively both internally and externally with partners. Marketing Director Responsibilities:
  • Partner with the Marketing Director and cross-functional teams to support the development and execution of annual, quarterly, and monthly marketing initiatives across retail, B2B, DTC, and ecommerce channels.
  • Assist in shaping multi-channel campaign strategies and promotional calendars that support company priorities, revenue goals, and brand growth.
  • Help translate high-level marketing objectives into actionable campaign plans, briefs, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Coordinate the execution of core marketing programs from concept through launch, ensuring deadlines, approvals, and deliverables stay on track.
  • Provide day-to-day project management and cross-functional coordination across Marketing, Retail, Operations, Buying, and external partners.
  • Support the development of new brand programs, promotional concepts, and customer-facing offerings that strengthen the Elevated Roots brand experience.
  • Contribute to customer acquisition and retention efforts by supporting initiatives that grow and engage the customer database across all store locations.
  • Support email campaign setup, QA, deployment, and reporting using marketing and sales automation platforms.
  • Draft campaign messaging, promotional copy, product descriptions, and other marketing materials aligned with brand voice and compliance requirements.
  • Build and maintain relationships with vendors, associations, and community partners to support promotional activity, partnerships, and brand visibility.
  • Support the planning and execution of integrated marketing campaigns and store-specific promotions across multiple channels.
  • Own creative asset management workflows, including link tagging, asset tracking, approval routing, version control, and KPI documentation.
  • Track campaign and promotional performance, compile reports, and share insights and recommendations with internal stakeholders.
  • Manage meeting schedules, agendas, milestone check-ins, post-campaign recaps, and program archiving for key marketing initiatives.
  • Provide administrative and executional support to marketing leadership and cross-functional teams as needed.
  • Contribute recommendations for integrated communications strategies that support high-priority campaigns and business objectives.
  • Support additional marketing initiatives, reporting needs, and special projects as assigned. Salary $70000 - $75000 USD per year Required Skills
  • Must be aged 21 or older.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications or equivalent field
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in Marketing, Paid Media, PR and/or social media preferred
  • Experience in a corporate matrix environment a plus
  • Knowledge of G4, Wordpress, CRM tools, Dutchie, Flowhub, Hubspot, etc.
  • Some proficiency with project management tools like Click Up, Monday.com
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 software suites and other collaboration tools Desired Skills Knowledge of the state's cannabis regulations.
