Area Marketing Representive Dolly Parton's Stampede Branson 1525 West 76 Country Boulevard, Branson, MO 65616 From $16 an hour - Full-time From $16 an hour - Full-time Are you ready to embark on a thrilling marketing adventure? Dolly Parton's Stampede and Titanic Museum Attraction is seeking a passionate and creative Area Marketing Representative to join our crew and play a pivotal role in promoting unforgettable experiences! If you have a flair for promoting ticket sales, generating positive word of mouth, and promoting special programs, this is the position for you. Must be available to work Monday through Friday during standard business hours. This position requires approximately 45 hours per week and includes overtime pay. The Area Marketing Reprsentative is responsible for executing marketing strategies within the Branson and surrounding area communities. This role focusus on building strong relationships with local businesses, coordinating intercept programs, and ensuring effective distribution of marketing materials. The ideal candidate is a proactive, community oriented individual with strong organizational and interpersonal skills, capable of working independently and as part of a team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Coordinate and manage the intercept programs for hotels, motels, restaurants, ticket outlets, etc. Assist in planning and working area events, including some evenings and weekends. Execute plans to achieve marketing objectives using provided marketing tools. Attend all meetings in the assigned area as directed by the Marketing Manager, including Chamber of Commerce meetings, Hotel/Motel Association meetings, Business After Hours, and other community events. Serve as an effective leader and participant in the Branson community. Maintain an ethical environment that is always beyond reproach. Keep the marketing team informed of events and new openings in the area. Monitor and maintain oversight of brochure distribution companies to ensure all brochure racks are fully stocked. Follow company and departmental policies and procedures. Help in other areas/departments as requested by management. Participate in inventory counting and auditing. Introduce the marketing intercept program to applicable businesses who are not currently a marketing partner.
Qualifications:
Valid drivers license and proof of insurance. Ability to use a computer and input communication records timely and accurately. Get along well with guests and fellow employees, maintaining a professional business relationship at all times. Work at a rapid pace and assist in other areas/departments as requested by management.
Physical Demands:
Frequent sitting, walking, occasional standing. Frequent bending/stooping/twisting, occasional balancing. Occasional simple grasping, firm grasping, and fine manipulating with both right and left hands. Frequent reaching high and low levels. Frequent automobile operation. Continuous oral communication at a conversational level. Continuous hearing at a conversational level, frequent hearing at a high acuity level. Frequent telephone and computer usage. Occasionally making judgments in emergencies, frequently making decisions on facts and judgments, continuously working under deadlines. Frequent carrying up to 50 lbs. Frequent pushing/pulling up to 50 lbs.
Work Environment:
Frequent exposure to changes in temperature and humidity. Continuously working around others. Occasionally working in cramped quarters. Occasionally working around moving objects. Occasional exposure to animals. Noise levels low to moderate. Ability to travel within the Branson, MO and surrounding areas, as well as occasional travel to Springfield and Joplin Missouri areas.
