Job Description

BIO Girls is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Marketing Intern to join our team through AmeriCorps. This role will support BIO Girls' marketing and communications by drafting blogs, creating social media content, assisting with newsletters, and managing other digital marketing projects. The marketing intern will play a key role in executing day-to-day communications tasks that keep our community engaged and informed. This is an excellent opportunity for a college student interested in communications, marketing, or nonprofit work to gain hands-on experience in digital marketing and content management.
Time Commitment:
300 Hours (October 2026 - May 2027) Responsibilities Support the development and distribution of content across digital and print marketing channels. Assist with social media management, analytics, and audience engagement. Contribute to email marketing efforts including drafting, scheduling, and reporting. Create digital assets and multimedia content to support marketing and communications goals. Conduct research to inform marketing strategy, campaigns, and audience insights. Assist with event support, community outreach, and brand representation as needed. Contribute to website updates and digital content management. Support the creation and execution of marketing and communications plans across campaigns, programs, and initiatives. Provide general marketing and communications support and complete special projects as assigned. Qualifications Current college student pursuing a degree in communications, marketing, journalism, or a related field. Strong writing, editing, and organizational skills. Familiarity with social media platforms and analytics. Experience with Canva or similar tools preferred. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. Attention to detail and accuracy in written and digital work. Interest in nonprofit marketing and communications is a plus. Pay:
$15.00 - $20.00 per hour
