Job Description
The Marketing Associate manages and creates content for all social media accounts for the Press. Assists marketing and sales manager with special projects related to online promotions, author requests, and design projects. Manages award submissions. Coordinates with publicity on sharing review coverage to Press networks. Assists the marketing department with ongoing tactics as needed, including blurb outreach and other communications. Minimum Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree; additional years of relevant experience or completed relevant education may substitute for required education/experience on a year-for-year basis. Proficient experience in Microsoft Office and standard suite of MS tools. Ability to organize multiple tasks simultaneously and meet tight deadlines. Preferred Qualifications Experience in book publishing, preferably scholarly publishing. Excellent communicative skills highly desired. This position may be considered for remote work in accordance with the University of Nebraska's Alternative Worksite program.
