Job DescriptionThe Opportunity:
 The Senior Associate, Brand Strategy & Marketing will support the execution of a social-first brand strategy, helping bring the brand to life across social platforms, communities, and culture. This role partners closely with Brand Strategy & Marketing leadership to execute campaigns, identify emerging opportunities, and ensure the brand is engaging audiences in meaningful and relevant ways.

This individual will contribute to the development and activation of social and integrated marketing programs, translating strategic direction into platform-native content, creator collaborations, and community engagement initiatives. They will bring a strong understanding of social media, digital culture, and consumer behavior, while supporting campaign planning, execution, and performance analysis.

The Senior Associate will play a hands-on role in day-to-day social activation, coordinating with cross-functional teams and agency partners to deliver impactful work. They will help monitor trends, support campaign execution, track results, and identify opportunities to optimize performance and audience engagement.

A highly organized and collaborative team member, this individual is eager to learn, comfortable managing multiple priorities, and passionate about culture, storytelling, and social media.
What Your Impact Will Be:
 Social & Brand Strategy SupportSupport the execution of social-first brand strategies across key social and digital platformsMonitor social trends, cultural conversations, creator activity, and emerging platform behaviors to identify opportunities for the brandContribute ideas and recommendations that support the brand's voice, storytelling, and audience engagement objectivesHelp maintain social content calendars, campaign trackers, and planning toolsSupport the implementation of social and content guidelines across activationsCollaborate with Toy, Franchise, Studio, and Marketing teams to ensure social considerations are incorporated into key initiativesAssist with gathering insights and competitive analyses to inform planning and content developmentSocial Activation & ExecutionExecute social campaigns and activations from briefing through launch and post-campaign reportingCapture, develop, and produce social-first content for organic and paid campaignsSupport product seeding programs through sample coordination, shipment tracking, creator communications, and user-generated content (UGC) collection and curationSupport always-on social programming and tentpole marketing initiativesAssist with influencer and creator program coordination, including research, outreach support, briefing logistics, content tracking, and reportingCoordinate with creative, production, and agency partners to ensure timely delivery of social-first content and assetsSupport community engagement initiatives and social participation opportunitiesHelp manage campaign timelines, approvals, and cross-functional communicationPartner with regional teams to support localization and implementation of global social initiativesPerformance & OptimizationMonitor and report on social KPIs, including engagement, reach, video views, sentiment, and creator performanceCompile campaign results and contribute insights for optimization and future planningSupport social listening efforts to identify audience trends, opportunities, and potential issuesAssist in maintaining reporting dashboards and performance tracking toolsRecommend content and platform optimizations based on campaign learnings and audience behavior
QualificationsWhat We're Looking For:
3+ years of experience in marketing, social media, digital marketing, influencer marketing, or a related fieldExperience supporting and executing social media campaigns across multiple platformsStrong knowledge of social platforms including TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, and emerging channelsFamiliarity with creator and influencer marketing programsUnderstanding of social media metrics, analytics, and performance reportingAbility to identify trends and translate insights into actionable recommendationsStrong project management, organizational, and prioritization skillsExcellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across teams and agency partnersDetail-oriented with strong follow-through and execution capabilitiesCurious, proactive, and adaptable in a fast-paced environmentPassion for culture, entertainment, storytelling, and emerging digital trendsDemonstrated a growth mindset by staying curious and continuously learning, embracing challenges, and improving themselves. •The pay range is indicative of projected hiring range, however base pay will be determined based on a candidate's work location, skills and experience. Mattel offers competitive total pay programs, comprehensive benefits, and resources to help empower a culture where every employee can reach their full potential. Additional InformationDon't meet every single requirement? At Mattel, we are dedicated to an inclusive workplace and a culture of belonging.
