Job Description
Description We are looking for a skilled Marketing Assistant to join our team in Rochester, New York. This contract-to-permanent position offers an exciting opportunity to support various marketing initiatives and collaborate with vendors and internal teams to deliver impactful campaigns. Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with vendors to manage promotional materials and in-store merchandise.
- Develop and implement rebate programs and marketing campaigns at both national and state levels.
- Make minor edits to marketing projects using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
- Provide comprehensive support to field sales teams in executing marketing strategies.
- Assist in the creation and design of promotional materials and organizational branding.
- Ensure compliance with procurement governance, risk management, and related frameworks.
- Manage social media platforms and email marketing campaigns to boost engagement.
- Organize and oversee events to ensure smooth execution and alignment with marketing goals.
- Monitor the effectiveness of marketing activities and provide insights for improvement. Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in marketing or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
- Familiarity with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop for basic design tasks.
- Strong knowledge of procurement governance and risk management frameworks.
- Ability to negotiate and manage vendor relationships effectively.
- Experience in handling social media platforms and executing email campaigns.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Creativity and attention to detail in developing marketing materials.
