ASSIGNMENT CLARIFICATION
This position/assignment is a temporary (HR to confirm specific range of dates.) You will be considered an employee of System One, our 3 rd party partner of our contractor population, and/or of your specific freelance agency. Get to Know the
Role:
This role will be responsible for the production and release of AE & Aerie International campaigns and creative marketing assets for both print and digital; Producing creative assets for stores, OOH, digital, social, wholesale, etc.
What You'll Do:
Interpret concept artwork into production-ready files - adding die lines, and color callouts, checking dimensions for accuracy & attaching inspiration samples/color chips. Produce, organize, and release digital design assets in Figma, including component-based layouts, localization updates, and copy adjustments for International use. Spec and release sign kits, seasonal assets, and packaging for print artwork, as well as rolling releases, seasonal assets, and how-to guides for digital artwork. Proof and review materials, both print and digital. Review and follow the weekly production schedule, meeting all deadlines. Work closely with the US Production department to ensure packaging quality and meet deadlines. Communicating between design/production on a regular basis. Be conscious that both brands, in-store and online, are maintained in overall appearance, consistency, and point of view. Create style guides and overview guides for presentations. Stay up-to-date with current design and graphics trends in fashion and marketing. Flexible hours to stay as needed. Ability to work with ease and efficiency in high-activity work environments In-person/in-office collaboration is required; the frequency of such in-person/in-office collaboration (e.g., portion of week, entire week) is dictated by business needs
What You Bring:
BA or BFA degree in Graphic, Web, or Communication Design required. Portfolio of representative work required. 2+ years experience in fashion retail marketing, design studio, agency or freelance ideal. Experience with both print and digital production.
Extremely proficient in design applications:
Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, and Adobe Photoshop, and Figma. High degree of proficiency with online drives and internet applications. Google Drive and other Google workspace applications. Strong prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, project management and planning skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated collaborative skills and ability to work well within a team. Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment. Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting. Experience with project management tools is a plus. Experience supporting motion, animation, or video handoff for digital channels across web, email, and social is a plus.
