Job Description
Job Overview The Digital Marketing Associate helps bring the Jewish Federation of Greater Pittsburgh's mission to life through engaging email, web, and social media campaigns. This role supports the planning, creation, and execution of digital communications, including organic and paid campaigns, while working closely with marketing leadership to apply best practices, analyze results, and recommend improvements that increase engagement, click-throughs, and conversions. Essential Job Functions
- Execute digital marketing campaigns across email, web, and social media channels, including organic and paid campaigns.
- Plan, build, deploy, and optimize email marketing campaigns, including segmentation, testing, quality assurance, and post-campaign analysis.
- Develop and manage organic social media content and support paid social campaigns through audience targeting, creative testing, and performance tracking.
- Build and update campaigns and event webpages or landing pages, ensuring usability, quality, and conversion optimization.
- Maintain reporting dashboards and use analytics to identify trends, measure success, and recommend improvements.
- Coordinate with internal partners to manage timelines, content flow, creative assets, and campaign execution.
- Support updates to marketing systems and processes, troubleshooting issues, and document best practices.
- Use AI and other digital tools responsibly to improve efficiency, content development, and campaign performance. Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university.
- One to three years of digital marketing experience, including hands-on work in email marketing and social media.
- Experience with campaign testing and optimization, including subject lines, creative, calls to action, audience targeting, and performance analysis.
- Ability to build and update webpages or landing pages, such as in WordPress.
- Strong writing, editing, proofreading, and organizational skills.
- Working knowledge of email marketing platforms, social media tools, analytics, and digital design applications such as Canva and Adobe Photoshop.
- Ability to interpret data, identify insights, and communicate recommendations clearly.
- Experience working collaboratively across teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Preferred qualifications include familiarity with CRM or marketing automation platforms, basic HTML/CSS, web analytics tools, and experience in a mission-driven nonprofit environment.
Pay:
