Marketing Assistant Description:
Key Responsibilities Social Media Management:
Oversee, curate, and schedule engaging content across Meta platforms ( and ) to promote uing exhibitions, concerts, literary events, andmunity programs.
Graphic Design:
Generate eye-catching digital and graphics for the , email newsletters, flyers, postcards, and signage.
Public Relations Support:
Assist with drafting and distributing press releases to local media outlets, and maintain an up-to-date media contact list.
General Administrative Support:
Assist with related marketing and promotional tasks as needed to support the Center's mission and events.
Position Details & Compensation Compensation:
$26 per hour
Hours:
Up to 10 hours per week
Location:
Hybrid (Norwell, MA). Many tasks can bepleted remotely, with occasional on-site meetings or event attendance as required.
Qualifications:
Qualifications & Skills Experience managing professional social media accounts (specifically and ). Strong graphic design skills; proficiency with tools like Canva or the Adobe Creative Suite is highly preferred. Excellent written and verbalmunication skills, with an eye for detail and proofreading. Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines. A passion for the arts and culture sector is a major plus.
