We're a bootstrapped startup looking for an entrepreneurial, resourceful person who is excited to help build something from the ground up. This is a hands-on role that combines marketing, business development, events, public relations, and light administrative support. One of your key responsibilities will be helping charities organize computer and electronics donation campaigns, creating opportunities for their supporters and local businesses to donate unwanted technology while raising funds for the organization. This is currently a part-time position with approximately 10-20 hours per week, but there is opportunity for the role to grow as the organization expands. The position is primarily remote, but applicants must be able to meet in person in Seattle approximately once per week. What You'll Do Business Development & Sales Help nonprofit partners develop and promote electronics donation campaigns that generate funding for their organizations. Identify and contact businesses, organizations, and individuals with electronics available for donation or recycling. Conduct outreach through phone, email, LinkedIn, networking, and community events. Follow up with prospective partners and help turn initial conversations into ongoing relationships. Marketing & Communications Support social media, email marketing, and digital campaigns. Create engaging content for our website, social channels, newsletters, and promotional materials. Develop stories that highlight our nonprofit partners, donation campaigns, and environmental impact. Help identify PR opportunities and assist with press releases and community outreach. Track marketing performance and identify opportunities to improve results. Operations Maintain our CRM and keep leads, contacts, campaigns, and partnerships organized. Coordinate marketing calendars, outreach activities, and follow-up. Assist with tracking campaign results and partner activity. Support the founder with day-to-day priorities as the organization grows. Who We're Looking For We're most interested in finding someone who is proactive, creative and excited about the mission. Experience in marketing, sales, business development, community outreach, or a combination of these areas. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Comfortable reaching out to prospective partners and starting conversations. Friendly, professional, and confident building relationships with businesses and nonprofit organizations. Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently. Comfortable working in an early-stage startup where responsibilities and priorities may evolve. Experience with social media, email marketing, Canva, WordPress, or similar tools. CRM experience with Zoho or Bigin is a plus. Bachelor's degree is preferred.
