Flexible, with potential for additional hours as the business grows About Us Unique Western Woodworks is a custom woodworking, cabinetry, contracting, and remodeling company serving the Treasure Valley and surrounding areas. We design and build custom rustic furniture and cabinetry, as well as coordinate large and small remodeling projects and new construction. We are looking for an organized, dependable, and self-motivated person who enjoys creating order, improving systems, and helping a growing business stay on track. This position is primarily remote but requires a local candidate who can occasionally meet in person, visit the shop or project sites when needed, and become familiar with how our business operates. This position has the potential to grow into a larger role as the company continues to expand.
What You'll Do:
Project Administration & Organization Create and distribute professional project summaries for clients Organize project documentation and digital files Maintain project folders and records File receipts into the appropriate project folders Track project status and progress report the status to clients. Create and maintain spreadsheets used for project tracking Archive completed projects and maintain organized records Project Management Support Update Trello boards (project management tool) based on project updates and field reports Help maintain project schedules and task tracking Organize information so active projects remain easy to manage Assist in developing systems that improve business efficiency Marketing & Social Media Schedule and publish social media content Post project photos, videos, and before-and-after updates Help maintain Facebook, Instagram, Google Business, and other online platforms Monitor comments and messages when appropriate Organize marketing content and photo libraries Help develop ideas for promoting the business and generating new leads Who We're Looking For The ideal candidate: Is highly organized and detail-oriented Communicates clearly and professionally Learns new software and systems quickly Is comfortable using Google Drive, Google Docs, Google Sheets, and similar tools Can work independently without constant supervision Enjoys creating systems and solving organizational problems Has experience with social media platforms and basic marketing Is dependable, proactive, and follows through on commitments Experience with Trello, project management software, construction, woodworking, remodeling, or small business operations is helpful but not required. What Success Looks Like This role helps ensure that project information, client communication, marketing, and administrative tasks stay organized and current. Your work will allow the owner to focus on customer relationships, project management, scheduling, and growing the business. We're not looking for someone to simply complete tasks. We're looking for someone who enjoys helping build systems, improve processes, and become a valuable part of a growing company.
