Job Description

Summary The Hans A. Nielsen College of Business at Charleston Southern University invitesapplications for an Assistant/Associate Professor of Marketing / Supply Chain Management positionbeginning August 1, 2026. Charleston Southern University seeks candidates for faculty positions who are professing Christians and who arecommitted to excellence in teaching and service. They should support the goals of a strong liberal arts education and be willing to explorewith students the integration of faith and learning. Work Performed The teachingload will include teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in a traditional format and may include teaching graduate courses in an onlineformat. This requires on-campus teaching. Faculty members are also called upon to participate in academic advising, serve on committees,engage in college and university service, plus scholarly activities in their field. The successful candidate will be committed tointegrating the Christian faith into his or her teaching and scholarly activities and advancing the Christian mission of the University. Qualifications An earned doctorate (Ph.D.) in the field of supply chain management ormarketing from a regionally accredited, non-profit institution or ABD status with strong likelihood of finishing a doctoral program within 6months of hire. Candidates should have teaching and research capability in logistics, supply chain management, marketing channels, and/orB2B marketing. Teaching responsibilities may include logistics courses, introduction to supply chain management, B2B marketing, andretailing. We will give preference to qualified candidates who also have prior teaching experience with demonstrated effectiveness inundergraduate and graduate instruction.
