Event Marketing Associate Job Type:
Full-Time Work Setting:
In Person Overview Join our team as an Event Marketing Associate to support community outreach and in-person marketing initiatives for nonprofit partners. This is a field-oriented role made for individuals who thrive on interpersonal interaction, enjoy public outreach, and want to build real-world skills in event marketing and communications. Rather than working behind a desk, you will be present at scheduled activations, festivals, vendor fairs, and retail locations. You will practice delivering campaign messages, engaging varied audiences, and ensuring each interaction leaves a positive impression of the organizations you represent. Primary Duties Assist in setting up and executing marketing activities at community events and promotional venues Represent nonprofit partners with clarity, enthusiasm, and professionalism Engage event attendees, answer questions, and invite participation Clearly introduce campaigns, collect interest, and explain next steps to participants Help assemble and maintain promotional displays, signage, and materials Support event logistics including setup, staffing rotations, and breakdown Attend pre-event briefings and contribute to team strategy during shifts Document attendee feedback and common concerns for leadership review Candidate Profile We seek energetic, approachable individuals who enjoy meeting new people and can sustain high-quality interactions across long shifts. Successful candidates are dependable, positive, and team-oriented. They communicate well, accept coaching, and adapt to changing event environments. Relevant experience in customer service, retail, hospitality, or outreach is a plus but not required. We will provide training to ensure you have the knowledge and confidence to represent our partners effectively. Training & Growth Comprehensive paid training will cover campaign content, customer engagement techniques, event safety, and presentation skills. As you develop, you may be invited to take on added responsibilities such as mentoring new team members or leading small event teams. Compensation & Perks Expected annual range: $39,000-$59,000, with exact compensation determined during interviews.
