Our well-established operating teams focus on product placement, marketing services, consumer engagement, business intelligence and retail services in over one-thousand Army Air Force Exchange, Navy Exchange, Marine Corps Exchange and Coast Guard Exchange locations around the world. We are seeking a Marketing Assistant to join our dynamic team in our Dallas, Texas office. Ideal candidate must have the following skills and experience:PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Identify trendsetter products / suppliers by researching industry and developing understanding of industry. Identify potential new business partners; discover and exploring opportunities to grow business. Assist in developing new client leads and broadening of division portfolio. Work closely with manufacturer to maintain an accurate monthly pricing and product database. Maintain system pricing and promotion, keeping Customer Service informed. Coordinate activities and priorities with assigned Director. Support Exchange customers and clients by providing item set-up, suggested order quantities, overstocks. Communicate status to sales force. Work with EIS team on prepared reports and report manipulation for analysis. Collaborate with EIS team during development of market / sales analysis reporting and market share. Ability to draw conclusions and provide insights on own Track presentations, promotions, and category reviews, analyzing final results for future presentations and planning. Interface with field sales, principals, and military buyers Perform ad hoc requests for direct supervisor as deemed necessary for service to client and customer Performs all other job-related duties, including but not limited to: POS requirements Coordinate distribution of product samples and coupons Provide new item material upon receipt Provide necessary selling material for field mandatory packages Demo Coordination Tracking of client MDF funds Weekly review of customer inventory status reports, cross-reference reports, and other applicableSKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
Must have a clear understanding of industry trends, and keen sense for emerging innovations. Well-developed analytical, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Should be multi-tasked, team player, creative, disciplined, and with a sense of urgency. Strong Excel, ACCESS, Power Point, and Outlook facility, along with accurate data entry skills. Ability to work collaboratively and autonomously. Demonstrated ability to grow and learn in position. Ideal candidate must have the following skills and experience: Work to grow division top line revenue through identification of new business opportunities, development of effective business strategy and expanding current client sales success Primary client point of contact on Manufacturers pricing and product database.
