In this role, you'll help shape the student dining experience by creating engaging marketing materials, promotional campaigns, signage, social media content, and website updates that connect the campus community with dining programs and services. You'll have the opportunity to build practical skills in graphic design, digital marketing, content creation, and brand management while contributing to a dynamic and student-focused environment. Summary of Responsibilities Prepares print and digital marketing materials for all areas of food services as directed by the director of Dining Services, including meal vouchers, labels, flyers, signs, promotional clothing, etc. Supports primary and secondary market research conducted by Dining Services. Updates Dining Services websites and social media channels with marketing content. Provides first-level administrative support to Dining Services, communicates with customers, and resolves concerns while providing general office support. Tours and observes operational units with management to evaluate marketing needs in each area. Maintains marketing materials and purchases supplies within the department's marketing budget. Other responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications / Licenses
/ Certifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license.
Preferred Qualifications:
Pursuing or possessing an associate's or bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Hospitality Management, Business Communications, Graphic Arts, Marketing, or a related field, with two years of related experience; or any equivalent combination of education and experience that demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to perform the essential functions of the position.
Knowledge / Skills
/ Abilities Knowledge of the operation of marketing software systems, including Adobe Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Premier Pro, Qualtrics, Microsoft Suite, Canva. Skills in evaluating and designing marketing campaign materials and strategies Ability to coordinate the production of a wide range of marketing communications, publications, and web design. Must possess the ability to produce graphic designs for food and beverage operations.
