The marketing assistant is responsible for working with the operations groups, project managers through senior vice presidents, in their pursuits to get work. The marketing assistant participates in all stages of the pursuit, from strategy to proposal preparation to presentations, in a deadline-driven environment. Some of the marketing assistant's duties for project pursuits include: Collaborating with operations to determine best strategy in responding to an
RFQ / RFP.
Developing relevant proposal materials (firm profile, resumes, project sheets, etc.). Editing content to ensure quality, accuracy, readability, etc. Transforming text-heavy narratives into visual/graphical responses. Preparing teams for client presentations. Performing market research. The majority of the position is working with: Adobe InDesign. Microsoft Office 365 including PowerPoint, Word and Excel. Adobe Photoshop (an extensive knowledge of the program is a plus, but not a requirement). Company opportunity management software. The successful candidate must have a bachelor's degree in Marketing or Communications and should be proficient in the software mentioned above. Sporadic travel is required, generally occurring 1-3 days at a time. Salary Range $60,000.00 - $63,000.00
