New Berlin, WI Classification Full-time (40 hours/week Monday-Friday), non-exempt Summary A growing, privately held organization in Waukesha County is seeking an Administrative and Marketing Assistant to support marketing, business development, and day-to-day operations. Early in your career, what you're exposed to matters. In this role, you won't be limited to one small piece of marketing. You'll work closely with leadership and gain hands-on experience across marketing, business development, client relationships, employer branding, and business operations. The company currently partners with external marketing resources. As your skills and business knowledge grow, you'll have the opportunity to take on greater marketing responsibility and help bring additional activities in-house.This Role Is Ideal For Someone Who:
Brings energy, curiosity, and initiative Wants to learn how a business works—not just one piece of it Enjoys interacting with people and building professional relationships Is creative while also organized and detail-oriented Likes variety and is comfortable shifting priorities Wants their responsibilities to grow as their capabilities grow Key Responsibilities Support marketing initiatives, including website content, email communications, presentations, graphics, and marketing materials Coordinate trade shows, networking events, Lunch & Learns, and other business development activities Maintain CRM information and support tracking of business opportunities Build and maintain relationships with technical schools and professional organizations Partner with HR to support employer branding, career fairs, recruiting materials, and other talent attraction efforts as needed Serve as a professional point of contact for clients, vendors, visitors, and incoming communications Prepare business documents, reports, presentations, and project materials Assist with company events, project coordination, and other administrative needs as business priorities evolve Education & Experience Associate's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or related field required; Bachelor's degree preferred 1-3 years of relevant professional experience; meaningful internship experience may be considered Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Strong written and verbal communication skills Professional, organized, adaptable, and comfortable taking initiative Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the position.Pay:
