Enrollment Marketing Department:
Enrollment Marketing & Communications Reports To:
AVP of Enrollment Marketing & Strategy (or designee) Position Summary The Graduate Assistant for Enrollment Marketing supports the development and execution of marketing and communication strategies designed to attract, engage, and convert prospective students. This role plays an active part in shaping the Bethany College story across digital, print, and in-person channels. Working closely with the Enrollment Marketing team, this position offers hands-on experience in content creation, campaign execution, social media strategy, and enrollment communications. Key Responsibilities Content Creation & Storytelling Develop engaging content for social media, email, and web (student stories, campus life, outcomes) Assist in writing and editing marketing copy for campaigns and communications Capture and create photo/video content for use across platforms Help highlight key differentiators including academics, outcomes, and student experience Social Media & Digital Engagement Assist in managing Bethany's social media presence (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc.) Monitor engagement and respond to comments/messages as appropriate Identify trends and recommend creative content ideas to increase reach and engagement Support short-form video creation (Reels, TikTok-style content) Campaign & Communication Support Assist with the execution of email and text campaigns within CRM (Element451) Support campaign builds for key recruitment moments (visit days, deadlines, deposits) Help segment audiences and personalize messaging where appropriate Track and report on campaign performance metrics Event Marketing Support Assist in promoting enrollment events (open houses, Bison Days, virtual sessions) Support event-day marketing needs (signage, materials, social coverage) Capture live content during events for real-time and future use Brand & Creative Support Ensure brand consistency across all materials and platforms Assist with design projects (flyers, digital ads, print pieces) using Canva or similar tools Help maintain marketing asset libraries (photos, videos, templates) Administrative & Team Support Assist with project management tasks and timelines Support mailing campaigns and promotional material distribution Collaborate with enrollment counselors, coaches, and campus partners on content needs Qualifications Must be enrolled in a graduate program at Bethany College (or eligible program) Strong written and verbal communication skills Creative mindset with attention to detail Familiarity with social media platforms and trends Basic experience with design tools (Canva, Adobe, etc.) preferred Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines Preferred Qualifications Interest in marketing, communications, branding, or digital media Experience creating content for social media or digital platforms Basic photography/video editing skills (or willingness to learn) Familiarity with CRM or email marketing platforms (a plus) Skills & Competencies Creativity and storytelling ability Strong organizational and time management skills Initiative and ability to work independently Collaborative mindset and adaptability Data awareness and curiosity around performance metrics
