Define and drive a unified global portfolio strategy that accelerates growth, strengthens competitive position, and guides long term innovation. Oversee portfolio planning, investment prioritization, and global commercialization, including launch sequencing, pricing, reimbursement, and regional adaptation. Partner closely with physicians, global sales teams, and cross functional leaders across R D, Clinical, Regulatory, and Operations to shape the innovation roadmap and ensure successful global execution. Lead and develop a high performing global marketing organization, elevating value propositions, evidence strategies, and messaging across the portfolio. Manage portfolio financial performance, including forecasting, margin optimization, and resource allocation.
Job duties:
Own the global portfolio strategy across multiple product lines and therapy areas. Lead portfolio prioritization, lifecycle management, and long-range planning. Drive portfolio level investment decisions, including new product development, line extensions, and end of life strategy. Develop portfolio level competitive strategy and scenario planning. Lead global commercialization strategy, including launch sequencing, pricing, reimbursement, and regional adoption. Partner with regional marketing leaders to ensure global consistency with local relevance. Drive cross functional alignment on portfolio priorities, timelines, and resource allocation. Synthesize market intelligence across the entire portfolio to identify gaps, adjacencies, and expansion opportunities. Co-lead portfolio governance with R D, Clinical, Regulatory, and Operations. Define long term innovation roadmap and lead business cases for new portfolio investments across the portfolio, including the evaluation of new therapy areas and platform technologies for strategic fit. Oversee and drive development and implementation of strategic and tactical marketing plans and brand strategy for assigned products, new products, line extensions, and programs. Own portfolio level financial modeling, including revenue forecasting, margin analysis, and ROI for major investments. Influence global P&L through portfolio strategy and pricing decisions. Lead and develop a global team of product managers and regional marketing leaders. Build organizational capability across portfolio strategy and upstream marketing. Define global evidence generation priorities across the portfolio. Own the global messaging architecture and value proposition framework. Oversee global training strategy for sales, distributors, and physicians. Develop and implement individual development plans for each direct report. Oversee and drive development and implementation of strategic and tactical marketing plans and brand strategy for assigned products, new products, line extensions, and programs. Lead development of sales tools, education programs, and marketing materials for global field teams to increase market share and address competition in their respective areas. Travel to customer sites/labs to observe and support clinical cases and simulator activities and visit physicians. $179,788 - $235,972 (Financial compensation packages may be higher/lower than listed, & will ultimately depend on factors including relevant experience, internal equity, skillset, knowledge, geography, education, business needs and market demand) Qualifications Bachelor's degree. Minimum twelve (12) years of professional experience with medical device marketing strategy and execution. Minimum five (5) years of management experience. Medical device marketing experience in domestic and international markets. Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills. Strong analytical capability. Capable of articulating market needs and provide leadership to multi-functional teams Skill to successfully motivate others to achieve goals. Capacity to manage multiple tasks effectively and consistently meet deadlines. Ability to cultivate strong customer relationships and effectively interface with global customers, sales team, worldwide distributor partners and cross-functional team members. Ability to effectively recruit, retain and develop talented Marketing professionals. Demonstrated successful, effective, and consistent communication with global customers, sales team, worldwide distributor partners and cross-functional team members. Excellent computer skills and working knowledge of MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, iPad applications and customer databases. Desired Qualifications MBA Experience with interventional medical devices/procedures, particularly in the neurovascular industry. Medical device or pharmaceutical sales experience. Physical Extended periods of computer use. Extended periods of sitting, standing, walking, or speaking. Light lifting, up to 25 lbs. May be required within the position to be in an environment that can include radiation exposure (such as in Cathlabs). Extensive domestic and international travel.
