Marketing Manager I#26-19183 $37-$42 per hour Burbank, CA Onsite Job Description Our Client, a Mass Media and Entertainment company, is looking for a Marketing Manager I for their Burbank, CA/Hybrid location.
Responsibilities:
Manage production for worldwide packaging, merchandising/POP, and creative advertising elements from layout/mechanical files through localization, pre-press, mock-up, print and manufacture for components within assigned business unit(s). Keep workflow on track for all assigned projects; manage the processing of assets/materials from designers/partners through to production vendors to maintain template compliance and line look consistency; ensure all approved pre-press, print, manufacturing, digital, and fulfillment vendors deliver materials on time and within budget. Maintain project production timelines & schedules, deliverables, and deadlines in creative production database (Monday.com) for accurate tracking of information; review and update reports and advise creative services, marketing and operations teams of all upcoming due dates and status of projects; update and disseminate current and accurate information advising global partners of status information impacting territory due dates and requirements. Manage the neutralization of packaging files and style guide creation for international territories. Create style guides and verify that all neutralized legal verbiage, logos, artwork positioning, file layers and file types are accurate. Manage style guide assignments between vendors and level-load as necessary. Manage the procurement/purchase order process, billing and approval of invoices for assigned projects, tracking all costs and staying within allocated budgets; advise key personnel of variances in actual costs versus budgets; organize and manage the retrieval and archival processing of project assets maintaining timely and accurate distribution across all departments and needed territories. Attend applicable marketing/creative/operations and ad hoc meetings to collaborate with the various departments from promotion "kick-off" stage through all timeline milestones required by project; work closely with Director and entire production team to maintain department workflow and level-load projects as necessary. Manage multi-format product packaging; research and propose custom packaging and merchandising solutions; manage print bids for special and custom work with approved vendors; review and approve applicable layouts, mechanical builds, mock-ups, color corrections, retouching, hardcopy and digital proofs; work closely with Vice President and Director of production, creative directors and vendors on approving color and ensuring final domestic, international, and localized files deliver on time and manufacturing falls within quality parameters. Assigns appropriate due dates/timelines for production workflow of projects Approves proofing / manufacture of production jobs - maintains quality assurance Approves estimated revisions and final billing costs System of job filing execution and maintenance
Requirements:
Must have packaging/print/merchandising production knowledge and expertise. Must be pro-active; a trouble-shooter; extremely detail oriented. Must have a good eye for color and creative details.. Must have skills to interface with varying creative styles on tight deadlines. Must be able to handle multiple tasks for multiple projects concurrently. Must be able to dedicate time needed to manage heavy workload Nice to Have Skills / Preferred Requirements Knowledge of scheduling applications like Monday.com are a plus Soft Skills Must possess strong organizational and managerial skills. Must maintain composure under pressure. Must have the ability to communicate effectively and tactfully with all levels of personnel. Must have the ability to pay close attention to detail and understand all written and oral instructions Education / Certifications Bachelor's degree
