In this role, you will help support a high-performing Marketing Communications team by enhancing workflow management, resource planning, performance tracking, and operational efficiency—all while contributing to an exceptional, mission-driven organization dedicated to making a meaningful difference in the communities we serve.
Starting Pay:
$85k - $100k
OVERVIEW OF POSITION
The Marketing Communication Operations Manager is responsible for building and managing the systems, processes, and tools that enable efficient and effective marketing communications execution across Easterseals Southern California. This role ensures that Marketing Communications work is prioritized, visible, and aligned with strategic goals. The role will drive improvements in workflow management, resource allocation, and performance tracking to support a high-functioning Marcom department. In all responsibilities, the position demonstrates a strong commitment to ESSC's mission and values.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Establish es and manage s governance processes that ensure Marcom work is aligned to organizational priorities . Define s and operationalize s clear prioritization frameworks to guide decision-making across competing requests . Partner s with Marcom and organizational leadership to evaluate tradeoffs, capacity constraints, and strategic alignment . Facilitate s regular prioritization reviews to ensure resources are focused on the highest-impact initiatives . Ensure s transparency in how work is approved, sequenced, and resourced across the marketing function Develop s and maintains standardized workflows for marketing projects . Monitor s team capacity and workload across Marcom functions . Align s demand with available resources, particularly for creative services . Develop s Smartsheet dashboards and reporting for leadership visibility . Manage s marketing technology platforms and tools . Ensure s tools are effectively utilized and integrated into workflows . Recommend s and implement s system improvements as needed . Facilitate s coordination across Marcom teams, services, and support functions . Ensure s alignment between brand, campaigns, and internal communications efforts . Provide s operational leadership across the Marcom function by establishing clear processes, standards, and expectations . Influence s stakeholders and team members to adopt and adhere to governance and prioritization practices . Facilitate s alignment across teams by driving transparency in priorities, capacity, and decision-making . Support s a culture of accountability by ensuring commitments, timelines, and processes are consistently upheld . Act s as a key partner to Marcom leadership in driving operational discipline and continuous improvement . Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION
: Bachelor's degree or equivalent training or relevant experience is preferred.
EXPERIENCE
Minimum six (6) years of experience in Marcom Operations or Project Management is required. Strong experience with process design and workflow management. Experience with marketing tools and project management platforms , specifically Smartsheet. Experience in nonprofit or mission-driven organizations preferred. Experience with creative production workflows (design, video, content) preferred.

Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and maintain compliance with privacy requirements. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet recurring deadlines. Ability to obtain and maintain a criminal record/fingerprint clearance from the Department of Justice and Federal Bureau of Investigation, per ESSC and/or program requirements. Must pass all required drug testing by
ESSC. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS IN ACCORDANCE WITH ADA

Travel :
Travel to ESSC offices and events in Southern California.

Ability to view a computer monitor or handheld electronic device and read printed materials.
Environmental Exposure:
Work is performed in a standard office environment.
