Temporary Marketing Manager Location(s): Palo Alto, CA Position Summary We are seeking a highly organized and strategic marketing professional to provide temporary coverage during a team member's leave of absence. The Temporary Marketing Manager will partner closely with Business Line Marketing, Regional Marketing teams, Communications, and other cross-functional stakeholders to advance strategic business initiatives, develop customer-centric content, and coordinate marketing programs. The ideal candidate will bring strong project and program management capabilities, strategic thinking, executive-level communication skills, and the ability to influence effectively within a complex, matrixed global organization. Key Responsibilities Strategic Marketing Initiatives Coordinate workstreams supporting key marketing narratives and related marketing transformation initiatives. Facilitate alignment across Business Lines, regional teams, corporate functions, and other stakeholders. Track deliverables, identify risks and dependencies, and proactively remove roadblocks. Support the execution of strategic marketing programs and ensure alignment with business objectives. Cross-Functional Coordination Serve as a central point of coordination among Marketing, Business Lines, Regional Marketing teams, Communications, and other functional groups. Organize and facilitate workshops, working sessions, stakeholder meetings, and executive reviews. Maintain project plans, timelines, action logs, and governance processes. Coordinate approvals and ensure compliance with established internal review processes. Communicate priorities, decisions, action items, and project updates to stakeholders. Program Operations & Reporting Monitor initiative progress against milestones, timelines, and business objectives. Prepare clear and concise status reports and executive updates. Maintain project documentation, resource plans, and supporting materials. Coordinate multiple concurrent projects while maintaining quality and attention to detail. Identify opportunities to improve program processes and drive operational excellence. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Healthcare, Life Sciences, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in marketing, program management, project management, communications, or a related discipline. Demonstrated experience managing complex, cross-functional initiatives. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent stakeholder management, collaboration, and influencing skills. Strong organizational and project management capabilities. Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, and SharePoint. Preferred Qualifications Experience in healthcare, medical technology, life sciences, or healthcare marketing. Familiarity with clinical evidence, value propositions, and customer-centric marketing strategies. Experience working within a global, matrixed organization. Experience supporting executive communications or strategic marketing programs. Ability to translate complex information into clear, concise, and actionable communications.
