Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking an energetic, creative director of Marketing and Community Engagement to serve our school in a newly created position. Our goal is to find innovative ways to help local families find our private school to direct them to our campus, where our educational leadership is already in place to work with families to complete the admissions process (i.e., tours, etc.) While this position is for a school, the job seeker should expect to spend substantial time off campus and personal tranportation is required . On-campus time will be primarily be for research and planning as well as creating and posting to social media. Attending off-campus promotional events as well as hosting on-campus events will mostly be in the evenings and on weekends . Therefore the applicant must be prepared for a flexible schedule with regular evening and weekend responsibilities. We expect this to be a full-time position, but we are open to the possibility of less than full-time if the applicant is the best match for our needs. Expectations for this new position are: Social media marketing - Applicants must have the ability to create content for, post and create social media ads independently. Anyone without this skill need not apply as this is vital to this position. Research, locate and and attend local community events to showcase (table.) Note these events are often on the weekends . Research, locate and develop relationships/partnerships with local businesses and non-profit organizations in the area. This will require going out into the local area to foster these relationships, participate in their events, and create opportunities to have them participate in ours (table at our promotional events.) Create, plan and manage engaging, on-campus events that will attract families to our campus to learn more about our school. Again, these will mostly need to be in the evenings and on weekends to allow working parents to attend. Develop creative ways that we may not have considered to expand our visibility in the local community.
Pay:
$40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
