We are the authority on the craveable and indulgent art of fondue. SUMMARY The Local Marketing Manager supports franchisees across The Melting Pot Restaurants, Inc. (TMPRI) franchise system by providing guidance on local marketing initiatives, promotions, community engagement, and marketing program execution. This role serves as the primary resource for routine local marketing support, manages marketing inquiries, and maintains the self-service marketing infrastructure, including toolkits, templates, playbooks, training materials, and resource documentation. Working closely with cross-functional teams, the Local Marketing Manager helps execute national and local marketing initiatives, supports new restaurant openings, and identifies opportunities to improve processes, resources, and training. The role ensures franchisees have the tools and support needed for successful local marketing execution while directing strategic or specialized requests to the appropriate corporate or field marketing partner

RESPONSIBILITIES
Serve as the primary resource for routine franchisee local marketing questions and support requests across TMPRI's franchise system. Provide guidance on local promotions, community engagement initiatives, and marketing calendar execution. Support franchisees in utilizing approved marketing tools, templates, playbooks, and resources. Manage and triage marketing help desk requests, ensuring inquiries are addressed, routed, and resolved appropriately. Escalate franchise, event-related, and relationship-based requests to the appropriate local marketing lead. Route paid media, agency, creative production, and marketing strategy inquiries to the appropriate corporate Marketing partners. Own and continuously improve the self-service marketing resource center, including toolkits, templates, playbooks, FAQs, and support materials. Coordinate the rollout and communication of national campaigns, promotions, and marketing initiatives at the local level. Support local marketing efforts for new restaurant openings, including coordination of opening resources, timelines, and marketing activities. Assemble and distribute local marketing toolkits using assets developed by internal Marketing teams and external partners. Maintain and update SOPs, training materials, resource documentation, and support content to reflect evolving processes and best practices. Coordinate meeting logistics, agendas, action items, and follow-up for local marketing team meetings, webinars, and cross-functional collaborations. Identify recurring franchisee needs, questions, and process gaps, recommending improvements to resources, training, and workflows to drive greater efficiency and consistency across the franchise system. Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or related field 3-5 years of experience in local marketing, field marketing, franchise marketing, or marketing coordination. Comfort building and maintaining marketing resource libraries, toolkits, playbooks, campaign calendars, and related support materials; willingness to adapt to new tools and platforms as they are adopted. Strong organizational skills and clear written communication, with the ability to manage marketing requests coming from many directions at once. Good judgment about when to advise directly versus escalate; the role's value depends on accurate triage rather than trying to handle every request independently. Experience in a multi-unit, franchise, or retail-network environment is a plus, though not required. A collaborative spirit and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Proficiency in Microsoft Office products such as Outlook, Word, and Excel. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong leadership skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to prioritize tasks. Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills. TRAVEL Travel as needed or required for scheduled meetings or company functions.

Provides strategy and consulting as defined and agreed in the scope of work with unaffiliated brands that TMPRI enters a consultancy arrangement.
