This is a brand marketing role—not a traditional public relations, corporate communications, or social media position. We are looking for a strategic marketer and exceptional storyteller who knows how to turn expertise, ideas, research, intellectual property, and customer impact into compelling content that builds a company's brand. A major focus of this role will be developing and growing podcast and video thought-leadership channels . You should be comfortable not only developing the strategy, but also personally producing the work—from identifying topics and preparing guests to recording, editing, publishing, promoting, repurposing, and analyzing performance. You'll work closely with our Founder and CEO, company leaders, subject-matter experts, customers, and marketing team to make Instructional Empowerment and its ideas more visible in the conversations that matter to K-12 leaders. The goal isn't to build a personal brand around one individual. The goal is to build Instructional Empowerment into an increasingly recognized and trusted authority on improving K-12 instruction. What You'll Do Build the Brand Develop and execute integrated brand marketing strategies that increase awareness, differentiation, credibility, and market authority for Instructional Empowerment. Translate company expertise, research, frameworks, books, customer results, and intellectual property into compelling brand campaigns. Identify the topics, ideas, and conversations where Instructional Empowerment can establish a distinctive point of view. Develop creative approaches for reaching superintendents, district leaders, principals, and other education decision-makers. Ensure a consistent and differentiated brand story across channels and campaigns. Connect brand-building activity to measurable audience engagement and business growth. Build a Thought-Leadership Engine Develop thought-leadership campaigns that establish Instructional Empowerment and its experts as trusted voices in K-12 education. Interview company leaders, subject-matter experts, educators, and customers to uncover compelling ideas and stories. Transform complex education concepts into clear, engaging content for multiple audiences and channels. Write and edit articles, scripts, newsletters, campaign content, LinkedIn content, landing pages, and other brand assets. Manage the company's Wikipedia content. Create repeatable systems for turning one strong idea or piece of long-form content into multiple high-quality assets. Produce & Grow Podcasts and Video Help develop and grow Instructional Empowerment's podcast and video strategy. Personally manage the production process, including topic development, guest recruitment, scheduling, interview preparation, recording, editing, publishing, and promotion. Produce and edit professional-quality podcast and video content. Develop strategies to grow podcast, YouTube, LinkedIn, and other relevant audiences. Turn podcast and video content into articles, clips, social content, newsletters, web content, and other marketing assets. Continually experiment with formats, topics, guests, distribution, and promotion to improve audience growth and engagement. Market & Amplify the Content Build integrated campaigns around podcasts, videos, books, research, events, customer stories, frameworks, and other company intellectual property. Manage organic and paid amplification across appropriate digital channels. Apply working knowledge of SEO, content optimization, branded search, referral traffic, and backlinks to increase discoverability. Use LinkedIn, YouTube, email, web, paid media, partnerships, and other channels to expand reach. Identify opportunities to extend the life and impact of high-performing content rather than simply producing more content. Track performance and use data to determine what is—and isn't—building the brand. Use AI as a Force Multiplier Use modern AI tools to accelerate research, ideation, writing, editing, production, repurposing, optimization, and campaign analysis. Develop AI-enabled workflows that allow high-quality content to be produced and distributed more efficiently. Experiment with emerging tools that improve podcast, video, content, and marketing production. Maintain strong editorial judgment, factual accuracy, originality, and authentic brand voice regardless of the tools used. What Success Looks Like Success in this role will mean: Greater awareness and recognition of Instructional Empowerment among K-12 education leaders. A clearer and more differentiated company brand. A consistent pipeline of high-quality company thought leadership. A growing podcast and video presence with increasing audience engagement. Stronger LinkedIn, YouTube, email, web, and other owned audiences. Growth in branded search, direct traffic, referral traffic, organic visibility, and website engagement. Increased reach and effectiveness of company research, frameworks, books, events, and intellectual property. Content that is strategically repurposed and amplified rather than created once and forgotten. AI-enabled workflows that increase the speed, scale, and quality of marketing production. A measurable connection between brand-building efforts, qualified interest, and business growth. Who You Are You are an experienced brand marketer who is also a maker. You can think critically about positioning, audiences, differentiation, and market opportunity—and then sit down and create the work required to bring the strategy to life. You're energized by ideas. You're intellectually curious and naturally ask, "Why will this matter to our audience?" rather than simply asking what needs to be posted next. You're highly organized and detail oriented. You will need to be able to keep track of multiple projects and priorities and schedules and be self-directed to create your own systems for staying organized. You care deeply about the quality of what you produce. You can take a complicated idea and find the story inside it. You know when something is good enough to publish—and when it needs another edit. You are flexible and adaptable. You are someone who can deal with market shifts and changing priorities and can stay synced with the executive vision as it evolves. You're comfortable collaborating with senior executives and subject-matter experts, but you don't need to be the center of attention. Your goal is to make the company's ideas and expertise more influential. You combine creativity with business judgment. You understand that great content isn't successful simply because it looks or sounds good—it needs to reach the right audience and strengthen the brand. Most importantly, you are hands-on . You don't need an agency or production team to turn every idea into reality. Required Qualifications 7+ years of progressive experience in brand marketing, content marketing, integrated marketing, thought-leadership marketing, or a closely related corporate marketing role . Demonstrated experience developing and executing brand-awareness or integrated marketing campaigns. Exceptional writing, editing, interviewing, and storytelling ability. Hands-on experience producing, editing, publishing, and marketing podcast and/or video content . Experience turning subject-matter expertise, research, intellectual property, or complex ideas into compelling marketing content. Demonstrated ability to develop content for multiple channels and audiences. Experience marketing and distributing content—not simply creating it. Working knowledge of digital marketing, SEO, paid amplification, social platforms, website analytics, and campaign measurement. Strong critical-thinking skills and the ability to evaluate ideas, audiences, channels, and results strategically. Strong project-management skills and the ability to move multiple initiatives from concept through execution. Experience using AI tools as part of professional marketing and content workflows. A portfolio demonstrating relevant brand campaigns, writing, podcast/video production, content marketing, or thought-leadership work. Preferred Qualifications Experience marketing to K-12 education leaders , particularly district and school decision-makers. Experience in EdTech, educational publishing, professional learning, consulting, professional services, B2B SaaS, research/advisory services, or another expertise-driven organization. Experience marketing books, research, proprietary frameworks, intellectual property, or professional expertise. Experience developing thought-leadership programs for a corporate brand. Experience growing podcast, YouTube, LinkedIn, or other professional audiences. Familiarity with HubSpot, Google Analytics, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Google Ads, YouTube analytics, SEO platforms, podcast-production tools, video-editing platforms, and related marketing technologies. Location We are specifically seeking candidates in the West Palm Beach/South Florida area who can collaborate regularly with company leadership and participate in podcast, video, content, and brand-development work from our West Palm Beach office.
