Head of Capital Markets & Investor Relations Position Summary Overlook Global is seeking a Head of Capital Markets & Investor Relations to lead the firm's capital formation efforts across private equity, hospitality, real estate, and private credit investment strategies. This individual will be responsible for developing and executing the firm's fundraising strategy, building relationships with family offices, high-net-worth individuals, registered investment advisors (RIAs), institutional investors, and strategic partners, while overseeing investor communications and capital markets initiatives. The ideal candidate possesses strong relationship-building skills, a proven fundraising track record, and a deep understanding of alternative investments, private equity, real estate, and hospitality investment platforms. Key Responsibilities Capital Formation Develop and execute the firm's capital raising strategy. Source and cultivate relationships with family offices, RIAs, wealth managers, institutional investors, and high-net-worth individuals. Manage investor pipelines and fundraising activities. Lead investor meetings, presentations, and due diligence discussions. Assist in structuring investment vehicles and capital solutions. Coordinate capital raising efforts for funds, co-investments, and joint venture opportunities. Investor Relations Serve as the primary relationship manager for prospective and existing investors. Maintain regular communication with investors and strategic partners. Coordinate investor reporting and updates. Manage investor inquiries and due diligence requests. Support investor onboarding and subscription processes. Assist with annual meetings, webinars, and investor events. Business Development Identify new capital sources and strategic partnerships. Expand the firm's network across the investment community. Develop relationships with consultants, placement agents, attorneys, accountants, and wealth advisors. Attend industry conferences and networking events. Maintain a robust pipeline of prospective investors. Marketing & Communications Assist with preparation of investor presentations and marketing materials. Review pitch books, offering materials, and fundraising documents. Coordinate with legal counsel and compliance providers on investor communications. Ensure consistent messaging across all investor-facing materials. Strategic Planning Provide market intelligence regarding fundraising trends and investor demand. Assist leadership with capital planning and growth initiatives. Support development of new investment products and strategies. Participate in senior leadership discussions regarding firm growth and expansion. Strong understanding of private equity, real estate, hospitality investments, and alternative asset classes. Excellent relationship management and business development skills. Strong verbal and written communication abilities. Experience presenting investment opportunities to sophisticated investors. Ability to build and manage investor pipelines. Strong organizational and project management skills. Willingness to travel for investor meetings and industry events. High level of professionalism, integrity, and discretion. Preferred Qualifications Existing network of family offices, RIAs, wealth managers, and institutional investors. Experience raising capital for private equity, real estate, hospitality, or private credit funds. Experience working with emerging managers. FINRA licenses (Series 7, 63, 79, or similar) are a plus. CFA, CAIA, MBA, or related credentials preferred.
