Job Description

Job Summary:
The Director or Product Management is responsible of a team of Nutrition Product Managers and ensure regional implementation and Execution of the Categories / Vendor Strategies according to the Brenntag culture and shared

The Director or Product Management needs to build a cohesive PM team across NA through the execution of a well-defined strategy, sound marketing and business development activities of Brenntag Functional Ingredients Vendors. This includes developing and implementing best practices in terms of Product Management but also guide his team to maintain regional relations with key suppliers, provide support to the IMM team and their respective product portfolio and ensure proper coordination with our VAS, R D, Logistics, BDMs, and Supply Chain at the regional level.
Job Description:
Build, Lead and inspire a newly create Product Management team that supports Brenntag's Values and Culture and the Brenntag Way execution for business conduct and compliance. Contributes to the delivery of service excellence to both internal and external stakeholders. Builds and maintains a positive work environment by actively driving employee initiatives aimed at enhancing engagement and satisfaction. Develops overall strategy for the division in coordination with the IMM Team In coordination with IMM Management, Supervise the PM in the selection, management and development of vendors and categories. Support its PM in managing vendors at the regional level. Co-develops annual Food budget (Volume/Sales/GM) based on growth plans with suppliers in coordination with the BDM and Sales Team. Support the BDM in the execution of marketing plan and opportunities development with target and commonly selected suppliers. Manage his team in the execution of regional vendor's overall pipeline. Measure against plan and predetermine volume, Sales, and GP growth. Responsible of his team
KPI:
working Capital, turns, slow moving, etc. Provides leadership, support, and works closely with IMM, Supply Chain, Reg Affairs, Operations. Actively participate in SIOP calls, processes and initiatives. Follow up and implement as required. Ensures safety is the priority and that all activities are conducted in accordance with quality, health, safety and environmental management systems as well as corporate and local policies.
Additional Required Skills/Abilities:
Sound computer skills in the use of Microsoft Office, Salesforce, SharePoint… Strong strategic thinking, analyzing market information and identifying trends/focus areas. Can maneuver in a complex and constantly changing environment. Superior interpersonal communication and negotiation skills. Strong in relationship building with suppliers. Strong business sense, quantitative skills, and analytical rigor.
YOUR PROFILE
Education and Experience:
University degree in relevant field. Previous work experience (10 years) in Functional Food distribution or Specialty ingredients manufacturer. Strong product, market and vendors knowledge of Specialties and Functional Ingredients. Previously manage, train, coach, supervise people.
